The Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers have had time to reset as they prepare for Friday's critical Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final from Rogers Place, and we have our best Panthers vs. Oilers parlay predictions based on the best NHL odds

The Edmonton Oilers return home with the bit between their teeth, looking to win a third straight to force a deciding Game 7 in Florida. The Florida Panthers have won six of the last eight on the road and are focused on finishing the series in Edmonton and winning their first Stanley Cup. Game 6 starts at 8 p.m. ET (ABC), and the Oilers are the consensus favorites.

According to the Stanley Cup odds, the Panthers are still the clear favorites to finish the job and avoid becoming the second team to lose after building a three-game lead in the final.

Along with our Panthers-Oilers expert picks and best prop bets, here is my best parlay for Game 6.

SGP predictions for Panthers vs. Oilers

Matthew Tkachuk Over 2.5 shots ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Panthers' primary antagonist is back at his best after a relatively quiet opening two games. Tkachuk was the best Panther in Game 5, scoring his first goal in nine games and adding a helper. Importantly, Tkachuk was omnipresent in the losing effort, persistent on the forecheck, causing the Oilers' defense headaches throughout. He finished the game with four shots, the third time he hit the Over in the last four outings.

Tkachuk fired at least three shots on goal in seven of the previous nine contests. If he gets close to his Game 5 level, he should fire at least three shots on target. The -166 odds for this leg of the parlay represent a 62.41% probability.

Leon Draisaitl Over 2.5 shots ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Leon Draisaitl's playoff dominance has waned in the last couple of weeks. His notable slowdown coincided with the start of the Western Conference Final. While he hasn't produced nearly as many points lately, backing Draisaitl to fire at least three shots on target at home in a do-or-die contest feels right. It's a bet based on logic and gut feel, as Draisaitl has fired at least three shots on goal in eight of 11 home games during the 2024 playoffs.

The brazen bull averages 3.5 shots on goal each game at Rogers Place in the playoffs, has had at least three shots in three of the last five games, and is demonstrating a greater willingness to prioritize firing toward goal. The -135 odds of this leg imply a 57.45% probability.

Evan Rodrigues Over 1.5 shots ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Evan Rodrigues continues to impress for the Panthers. His pace on the break and ability to find pockets of space when the Panthers are on the forecheck are two variables that convinced me to add him to the parlay. He's also hot, confident, opportunistic, and, inarguably, playing the best hockey of his late-blooming career.

Rodrigues, with four goals in five games against the Oilers, has fired at least two shots on goal in four straight and seven of the last nine. This leg of the parlay has odds of -166, implying a 62.41% probability. The combined odds are +347, implying a 22.37% probability. A $10 bet will profit $34.70 if all three legs hit.
