My NHL predictions are heating up, as I’m 4-2 in the previous six picks, and I’m feeling good about tonight’s slate.

As usual, I’m featuring three picks, including the best German hockey player of all time, a Swedish captain, and the current most prolific Russian goal-scorer.

You’ll want to take a look at these mouthwatering matchups.

💰 NHL best bet today

Leon Draisaitl Over 1.5 points (-116 via bet365)

Draisaitl tallied three points in an absurd 16-goal affair in Vancouver, and he will be confident about replicating that performance at home against the Seattle Kraken.

Draisaitl has made mincemeat of the Kraken, scoring at least two points in seven of the previous eight meetings. During that outrageous run, he tallied 19 points.

His line, which includes Kasperi Kapanen and Vasily Podkolzin, averages 5.95 expected goals per 60 minutes, the most in the NHL.

📡 SBR bonus pick: Podkolzin anytime goal (+180)

Podkolzin has arguably been the most dangerous forward in the league through two games. He scored three goals and has the seventh-most expected goals per 60 minutes (3.03).

🔥 More NHL picks & predictions

Rasmus Dahlin Over 0.5 assists (-138 via bet365)

Dahlin plays his first game on home ice on Saturday, and he will look forward to facing the Chicago Blackhawks, who allowed 11 goals in their first two games.

The Blackhawks have conceded the second-most expected goals against (5.92). Meanwhile, Dahlin notched two assists in each of the previous three meetings with the Blackhawks, including two at KeyBank Center.

The Sabres captain tallied 27 assists in 39 home games last season.

Kirill Kaprizov anytime goal (+130 via bet365)

The Thrill scored in the opener against the Nashville Predators, and I’m confident he’ll make it two in a row to start the season. The Boston Bruins, who played Friday night in Winnipeg, stand in his way.

While it’s way too early to start talking about debilitating fatigue in the second game of back-to-backs, the Bruins played a hard-fought contest against the Jets that went into overtime. That might play a minor factor.

More importantly, Kaprizov has recently dominated the Bruins, against whom he has scored in six of seven meetings, including the previous four. He netted six times in his current four-game goal streak.
