My NHL player props for the contest feature Nazem Kadri, Martin Necas, and Mats Zuccarello. Kadri's shots prop have been among my most profitable recently, while Necas is on fire as the team's primary setup man. I like how Zuccarello is playing, and he should elevate with his team on the brink.

Nazem Kadri Over 2.5 shots (-105) vs. Wild
Kadri entered beast mode for this series, and his shot production has benefited. Kadri hit the Over on this total in all four games, averaging 5 shots per game. In that span, he has attempted 26 shots, an average of 6.5 per contest.
He easily passes the eye test, too, as Kadri is flying 5-on-5 and on the first power play unit. I cashed this bet twice previously with plus-money odds. Unsurprisingly, the value has decreased, but not nearly enough to pass up the opportunity.

Martin Necas Over 0.5 assists (-105) vs. Wild
Necas has 7 helpers in the previous five games, notching 6 in four contests against the Wild. Given how he's playing now, I'm surprised his odds aren't shorter.
He only had 2 assists in the first four playoff games, showcasing the run he's on in the second round. Eight of Necas' 9 points are assists, and he has 6 even-strength points.
I can't see the Wild stopping the Avs' dynamic first line, and Necas has been Nathan MacKinnon's primary setup man.
Mats Zuccarello Over 0.5 assists (+130) vs. Wild
Zuccarello is third on the Wild with 7 assists, notching 3 in the previous three games against the Avalanche. Four of his 7 assists occurred in enemy rinks. As it's an elimination game, the Wild will get increasingly desperate, and Zuccarello has been one of the team's most formidable offensive threats.
He plays alongside Kirill Kaprizov, which also helps matters. Kaprizov scored goals in Games 2 and 3, with Zuccarello setting him up on one of them.
The plus-money odds are a nice little bonus, with bet365 offering the best price of the best sports betting sites.

Kadri will play on the front foot, as he's shown throughout this series, and Necas has been all around the opposing goal, posing a consistent threat to set up one of his linemates.
The Zuccarello prop is the one I'm least confident about, so omitting it is also an option. With that pick omitted, you're looking at +281 odds.

💡 How I'm betting NHL player props today

I'm a big fan of both Avalanche props, each receiving a 5-star rating. My favorite of the bunch is the Kadri pick, as he's been shooting toward the goal like a man possessed.
While I'm least confident about the Zuccarello pick, the Wild's level of desperation provides enough incentive to trigger the play. I also like Kaprizov to notch an assist, and the price is +105 for that pick.
The Kadri pick gets 1.5 units, and I'm investing half a unit on Zuccarello. Each unit is $10.
