Thanksgiving is here, and the NFL has three games to watch and bet on to complement the holiday festivities. Here are our top NFL prop picks to celebrate the occasion.

All eyes will be glued to the television this Thanksgiving as we get three NFL games throughout the day. No matter when your family gathers to eat, there will be a game to talk about.

The Detroit Lions will look again to get their first win of the season and can do it against a divisional rival. The Dallas Cowboys need to get back on track against the Las Vegas Raiders, and the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints will face off to end the night.

You could look at the spreads and totals, but prop bets are more fun for the holidays. Here are my top NFL prop picks for the Thanksgiving Thursday matchups (odds via FanDuel Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

NFL Prop Bets

D’Andre Swift scores a touchdown (+115)

Our NFL prop picks start with the 12:30 p.m. ET kickoff between the Chicago Bears and Lions.

The Lions have question marks at quarterback, and Swift is easily the best player on offense. QB Jared Goff is expected to start, but no matter who is under center, Swift should get plenty of carries and the lion’s share (no pun intended) of reps at running back.

Swift may break a play free for a touchdown, but he can also win in the red zone. The offensive line is improving, and he knows how to hit running lanes. If he gets any momentum, he is hard to bring down near the goal line.

You want to find bets with positive value when you look at prop picks. The +115 odds are good value for the feature back in an offense looking for its identity. If Swift doesn’t score, the Lions will have a long day against Chicago.

Saints win first half (+175)

This is strictly a value play. The Bills have struggled in recent weeks, and it is hard to tell what they will be like in this game. With inconsistent play, the value of the underdog matters.

Also, the Saints play at home. A Thanksgiving night game at home will have Caesars Superdome rocking, and the momentum might carry the Saints early. I realize they have question marks surrounding quarterback play, but they should be able to score early.

The Saints may use some trick plays. They’ll get creative with what they do against the struggling Bills. It likely won’t be enough to win the whole game, but they could get out to an early lead if things go well. Back the Saints to win the first half at plus-money to boost our NFL prop picks.
