Monday night’s battle in the NFC West is critical for a 49ers team that looks to avoid falling to the division's basement. Here are our Week 4 Rams-49ers same-game parlay picks.

The road to a Super Bowl title for the Rams in 2021 went through the San Francisco 49ers in a thrilling NFC Championship Game. Will Kyle Shanahan’s team be ready for revenge when it hosts Los Angeles on Monday night?

Here are my same-game parlay picks for the Week 4 Monday night Rams-49ers matchup (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; Pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Same-Game Parlay Predictions for Rams vs. 49ers

Alternate Total: Under 43.5 (-120)

San Francisco boasts the best scoring defense in the NFL while allowing just 12.3 points per game. The Rams have permitted 23.3 points per contest, but their woeful performance against the Bills in Week 1 is inflating that average. The Rams didn't allow a touchdown against Kyler Murray’s Arizona Cardinals during a 20-12 Week 3 win.

Two of the three Rams-49ers contests in 2021 stayed below this total. You can make a case that the 49ers' defense is better now than it was when the team allowed scoring totals of 10, 24, and 20 to Sean McVay’s offense in 2021.

There could be plenty of defensive stands leading to a few field goals during this game. Buy your way to safety on the Under for the potential of a final score like 23-20. Doing so sends the parlay odds from +450 to +425.

Kittle Over 3.5 receptions (-190)

George Kittle made his return from a groin injury for the 49ers in Week 3, posting a modest receiving line of four catches for 26 yards. However, he immediately fell back into a primary role while being on the field for 91% of the club's snaps.

Though he often stays in to block, Kittle is a matchup nightmare when he’s out on a pattern. Kittle cleared this receiving line twice with a pair of five-catch games over three contests against the Rams in 2021. In the one matchup he failed to haul in four-plus passes, Kittle still scored a touchdown to demonstrate his importance to the 49ers' offense.

Kittle secured four-plus receptions in 11 of his 14 regular-season games in 2021. Even another ho-hum outing like his Week 3 effort will clear this line. But look for him to be more involved while returning further to game shape, potentially enjoying a huge night as a safety blanket for Jimmy Garoppolo.

Stafford Over 0.5 interceptions (-130)

Matthew Stafford has thrown five interceptions in 2022, and he faces the NFL's stingiest passing defense on Monday. The 49ers are the league's only team allowing fewer than 150 passing yards per game. The unit should put Stafford into uncomfortable positions, forcing him to take risks.

San Francisco has secured three interceptions over three games in 2022, and the 49ers now face a signal-caller who's more than willing to cough it up. Stafford threw five interceptions and was picked off at least once per contest over three games against San Francisco in 2021.

His recklessness and the 49ers’ penchant for coming up with turnovers make this prop a compelling addition to our parlay. FanDuel doesn't include QB interceptions in same-game parlays, so we’re making our play at DraftKings.
