Best NFL player props this week
Kenneth Walker III Over 90.5 rushing yards (-114 via FanDuel)
Walker hit the Over on this total in four of seven games, including all three at Arrowhead Stadium. He’s averaging 139 yards per game at home and will face a New York Jets run defense ranked 24th via DVOA.
The Chiefs will be in a foul mood after two straight losses, and I believe that will contribute to a relatively dominant display, where the home team will call on Walker more often down the stretch to control the clock.
In addition, three of the Jets’ four worst displays against the run came on the road.
⏰️ Set your alarm: Jets vs. Chiefs
- Kickoff: Sunday, 1 p.m. ET
- Venue: Arrowhead Stadium (Kansas City, MO)
- How to watch: CBS
Jared Goff Over 261.5 passing yards (-114 via FanDuel)
Goff's five-game streak of eclipsing this threshold ended last week against the Minnesota Vikings’ league-best defense. Goff will have a more favorable matchup against a Miami Dolphins team ranked 29th via passing DVOA.
The Dolphins rank decently in most other pass defense metrics, and they’ve been competitive recently, with their previous three losses by no more than seven points. If they can stay within reach of the Lions, the game script should lean toward a more pass-heavy attack from Goff and Co.
I’m also confident Goff will bounce back after being held in check by the Vikings at home.
⏰️ Set your alarm: Lions vs. Dolphins
- Kickoff: Sunday, 1 p.m. ET
- Venue: Hard Rock Stadium (Miami Gardens, FL)
- How to watch: CBS
Jaxon Smith-Njigba anytime TD (-125 via FanDuel)
Smith-Njigba scored at least one TD in six of eight games this season, totaling nine. Now he’s up against the Arizona Cardinals, who have allowed 18 passing TDs, tied for the most with the Las Vegas Raiders and Lions.
The Cardinals also allow the second-most yards per completion (tied with Indianapolis). Meanwhile, Smith-Njigba has a 59.1% red-zone target share, almost four per cent more than second-place Amon-Ra St. Brown.
⏰️ Set your alarm: Cardinals vs. Seahawks
- Kickoff: Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET
- Venue: Lumen Field (Seattle, WA)
- How to watch: FOX
