In their first 2023 encounter, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts led his team to victory against Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. However, Prescott notably outperformed Hurts in statistical performance, amassing 374 passing yards and three touchdowns, surpassing Hurts' 207 passing yards and two touchdowns in that game.

Nevertheless, Hurts contributed with a one-yard rushing touchdown, showcasing his dual-threat ability on the field. With Prescott displaying an NFL MVP-caliber performance for the Cowboys and the Eagles encountering challenges on both offense and defense, will the Eagles rely more on Hurts' passing in this upcoming game?

Dak Prescott Over 295 passing yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

FanDuel is the only major sportsbook to have this prop listed below 300 yards. Earlier this week, every major sportsbook had the total listed somewhere between 288.5 and 295.5. Therefore, we recommend getting in as soon as possible, as four of the five best sportsbooks are asking at least -110 for Over 301.5.

Even as this prop reaches an alarmingly high total, the Over is the right play. Prescott has thrown for at least 299 yards in five of his last six games, and his prior performance against the Eagles suggests he’s going to crush this number this week.

A lot of Prescott’s success has come against weak defenses. While that may deter some from taking the Over in this game, the 10-2 Eagles have one of the worst pass defenses in football. They’re allowing over 260 passing yards per game, and in a matchup that should be back-and-forth from start to finish, Prescott will be tasked with throwing for most of the 60 minutes.

While this is far from a guarantee, this prop offers the most value of any of the props for Hurts or Prescott. Prescott has thrown at least three touchdowns in five of his last six games, including three against the Eagles in Philadelphia earlier this season.

The Eagles have allowed the second-most touchdown passes this season, surrendering an average of 2.3 per game. When it comes to rush defense, they’re much better, allowing just 0.6 rushing touchdowns per contest. The Cowboys are averaging the most points per game this year, and most of their scoring success has come off the pass. They’re averaging 2.2 touchdown passes per game entering Week 14.

Despite Prescott’s recent numbers and the Eagles’ struggles against the pass, this prop has a price of +135 or better at all of our best sports betting apps. The price at bet365 is the best, and the value is fantastic, considering recent trends for each team.

Jalen Hurts anytime touchdown scorer (-130 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It’s been the most automatic bet this season. Hurts has run for 12 touchdowns and has scored in nine of the Eagles’ 12 games this year. He scored in four consecutive games and ran for a touchdown against the Cowboys earlier this season.

The Cowboys are allowing fewer than one rushing touchdown per game. However, when it comes to Hurts, stats don’t really matter. In any game in which the Eagles have a chance to score, he has a chance to get in the end zone with the ball in his hands.

Considering the Eagles are averaging 27.4 points per game, they’re likely going to score three touchdowns on Sunday night. Hurts has scored 12 of the Eagles’ 37 offensive touchdowns this season, so in a game where they score three, he should have at least one.

Because of Hurts’ success, the price for this prop is expensive. However, the -130 offered by FanDuel isn’t all that bad of a price, all things considered. Get in there as soon as possible, as the next best price is -138 at our best sports betting sites.
