Giants vs. Rams Prediction: Week 2 Early Pick & Opening Odds
Two teams with entirely opposing Week 1 performances and results battle in Week 2 Monday Night Football, and I’m backing the G-Men to cover the 7.5-point spread in my early Giants vs. Rams prediction.
The Rams remain the clear -375 moneyline betting favorite, according to the opening odds, despite their depressing display Down Under. While it’s admittedly early, the Giants are riding high with John Harbaugh at the helm. Monday’s game kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN/ABC) from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.

Giants +7.5 (-115 via BetMGM)
The Giants are playing the Rams at the perfect time, with the latter returning from a dreadful sojourn Down Under, which, by the way, could still have a residual negative impact in Week 2.
Even if they are fresh, completely free of any lingering travel fatigue, I’m not as confident in Sean McVay’s collective after seeing them dismantled by San Francisco.
Myles Garrett will miss at least four weeks after going under the knife, and who knows what form former retiree Aaron Donald will be in if he makes his season debut.
And then there’s the Giants, who are offering fans hope for the first time since making the playoffs in 2022. Harbaugh’s team was superb in Week 1, with the offense, led by Jaxson Dart, amassing 395 yards, while the defense held the Dallas Cowboys’ explosive offense to 244 yards.
I like the Giants at +7.5 at BetMGM.

The Rams opened as an 8.5-point betting favorite. The Down Under debacle, along with Garrett’s absence, has dropped the number to 7.5.
The number will likely fall to -7 in the next couple of days and it should be based on how both teams played in Week 1. If you plan on backing the Giants, snag the +7.5 while you can.
