My angle for a Cowboys vs. Eagles same-game parlay for Monday Night Football in Week 7 is to wonder why the betting world is so quick to trust the woeful Cowboys at this point in the season. While Philadelphia is dealing with brutal injuries to its offense, I'm inclined to believe that home-field advantage can keep the Eagles competitive relative to the underachieving Dallas side.

With the Cowboys favored by 4.5 points and the total set at 44.5, the action kicks off from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Monday at 8:15 p.m. ET (ABC/ESPN).

Cowboys vs. Eagles parlay picks

Eagles +4.5 (-109)

I simply don't trust the Cowboys, so Dallas at -4.5 screams to me to back the Eagles. There's been nothing tangible yet this season instilling trust in Philadelphia, which has gone 1-5 ATS, but I like the idea of Tanner McKee and Saquon Barkley getting a chance to redefine what this offense will look like for the first time.

The Eagles have only seen two of their games end in losses by a larger margin than this spread, while Dallas has just one win by more than 4.5 points this season.

Saquon Barkley 80+ rushing yards (+130)

Barkley is expected to return from injury in this matchup, and he'll be greeted by a Dallas defense that has been friendly to opposing running backs.

The Cowboys have allowed the eighth-most rushing yards per game to the running back position, and they've been gashed pretty much any time they've faced a competent opposing RB. Bucky Irving, Derrick Henry and Cam Skattebo are among the rushers to have cleared this line against Dallas, and Barkley falls into that category of opposing back.

CeeDee Lamb 90+ receiving yards (+110)

While I do expect Philadelphia's defense to play inspired in front of the home crowd, the numbers are paper aren't great when it comes to the Eagles defending wide receivers this season.

Philadelphia ranks 30th in the NFL in yards per game permitted to wideouts. The Eagles have allowed the opponent's leading receiver to eclipse 90 receiving yards in four straight games. CeeDee Lamb, who has gone for 110+ yards in half his games this season, tends to unlock otherworldly production in these types of plus matchups.
