Los Angeles hopes to put another disappointing prime-time performance behind it Sunday as I break down my Cardinals vs. Rams prediction for Week 6.

Kickoff from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., is set for 4:05 p.m. ET (FOX). The Rams are by far the biggest favorite of the week, priced at 12.5 to 13.5 points.

Cardinals vs. Rams prediction & best bet

Rams -12.5 (-118 via BetMGM)

The Cardinals were ill-equipped to hang with the Lions for all four quarters last week, losing by 24 points. The same will be true this week against a Rams squad that ranks top 10 in both offensive and defensive EPA/play.

Arizona has the league's worst scoring defense and has allowed over 400 yards of offense in two of the last three weeks. That is partly due to the Cardinals' brutal early schedule, but they simply don't have the playmakers on either side of the ball to keep pace with elite teams.

I love backing the Rams to cover the spread here below the key number of 13. BetMGM offers a solid -118 price tag on L.A. to cover 12.5.

📡 SBR Edge

The Rams are 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 games against the Cardinals.

Rams' secondary built to protect the lead

While the Rams are working through some defensive front issues without the injured Myles Garrett, their improved secondary is balling out.

Los Angeles is allowing the second-fewest passing yards per game, meaning the Cardinals won't be able to throw their way back into this contest once the Rams build a lead.

Score prediction: Rams 31, Cardinals 16
