My best Browns vs. Titans prediction centers on how much both offenses have struggled this season. Neither team is averaging more than 18.0 points per game, and I'm expecting both teams to finish below that threshold in a defensive struggle.

The Browns are 1.5-point favorites ahead of Sunday's 1 p.m. ET game at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. The game will air on CBS and stream on Paramount+.

Browns vs. Titans prediction & best bet

Under 37.5 (-115 via FanDuel)

Both of these teams rank in the bottom five in scoring offenses, averaging 17.7 or fewer points per game. The Titans are tied with the Dolphins for the fewest points per game in the NFL (14.0), and they've been held to 20 points or fewer in five of six games this season. The Titans have failed to reach 10 points in two of their last four games, with those contests coming against the 19th- and 20th-ranked scoring defenses.

The Browns have scored just 25 points in their last two games combined. However, they've also held four of their last five opponents below 20 points. The Browns are allowing the fifth-fewest points per game, giving up just 20.3 per contest, and that average drops to 17.6 if you remove Week 1 against the Jaguars.

📡 SBR Edge: Lack of red-zone chances

Red-zone opportunities will be scarce in this game, and when either team gets inside the 20, I don't expect them to have success. The Browns are allowing red-zone touchdowns on just 43.75% of opportunities, and the Titans are allowing touchdowns on just 60% of red-zone trips. Both rank 16th or better in the league.

The Browns don't do anything well offensively

Despite being 4-2, the Browns rank 29th in yards per game (267.5), 25th in passing yards per game (173.5), and 24th in rushing yards per game (94.0). The Browns also rank dead-last in third-down conversion percentage, earning first downs on just 30.77% of their opportunities.

Defensively, the Titans have actually performed well this season. They've held every opponent to 26 or fewer points, as they're allowing an average of just 21.5 points per game. Additionally, they're allowing just 5.2 yards per play, which ranks 15th in the league.

Play to: Under 34.5

Score prediction: Titans 17, Browns 14
