The Jayhawks return home after a road Big 12 defeat and seeking a bounce-back performance to stay in the conference title race, and our Oklahoma State vs. Kansas prediction based on the best college basketball odds likes KU's chances of doing just that on Tuesday.

Time is a flat circle. In the same weekend that the Kansas City Chiefs punched their ticket to another Super Bowl, the Kansas Jayhawks dropped another Big 12 road game. KU's 79-75 loss to Iowa State marked the team's third conference road defeat of the season, falling to 4-3 in league play.

Needing a significant rebound, Kansas is a double-digit favorite in Tuesday's home game against Oklahoma State. With a matchup against Big 12 odds favorite Houston on deck this Saturday, the Jayhawks could certainly use a big win to get back on track entering the final month of conference play.

It's been difficult to trust the Jayhawks to win by any margin this season, so I don't blame anyone for taking the points with the Cowboys in this one. Caesars is offering +16 for Oklahoma State, which is right in line with Kenpom's projection of a 79-64 win for Kansas.

But these two teams met just two weeks ago in Stillwater, with Kansas rolling to an easy 90-66 victory. That was the second game after freshman Johnny Furphy was inserted into KU's starting lineup, and the offense has been playing quite well ever since.

Prior to the starting lineup change, teams we able to give KU's non-shooter plenty of space and focus the defensive attention inside on Hunter Dickinson. KJ Adams Jr. is one of these non-shooters, but head coach Bill Self has been creative ever since Furphy was put into the starting lineup. We've seen Adams be more of a facilitator, and he's even shown the ability to bring the ball down the floor at times.

Adams has cleared this assists prop in five of his seven games during Big 12 play. The Over has cashed in four of five outings since Furphy became a starter. Adams dished out five assists during the win over Oklahoma State on Jan. 16.

Kansas ranks No. 1 in the country in assist rate, which makes the team's passing props worth a look on a night when the squad should roll. We believe Adams' assists prop offers the most significant discount, particularly after he only played 27 minutes last time out due to foul trouble.
