UConn prevailed as a heavy favorite by the Big East Tournament odds, according to the college basketball odds.

In a season defined by unpredictability and chaos, five of the six major conferences saw the No. 1 seed lose in their conference tournaments. It's only fitting that the defending champions were the lone survivors heading into March Madness.

UConn opened as the Big East Tournament favorite and ran the table, beating Marquette in the tournament final to likely secure the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. As a result, the Huskies' March Madness odds remain the shortest in the field across our March Madness betting sites heading into the Big Dance.

Expect Connecticut to be among the most popular college basketball picks and March Madness predictions in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, and the Huskies will likely open near the top of the oddsboard for next season's Big East Tournament, too.

UConn opened as the favorite to win the 2024 Big East Tournament even before the official bracket was set. Sure enough, the Huskies rolled to three wins in three days, including a 73-57 win over Marquette in the tournament final.

Expect the odds for the 2025 Big East Tournament to be released sometime in early March in the days ahead of next season's conference tournament. The Big East regular-season odds will be posted at some point this summer.
