The Minnesota Timberwolves host the Dallas Mavericks for Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, which tips off tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET at Target Center. Here are our top Mavericks vs. Timberwolves player props based on the best NBA odds.

After losing at home in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, the Minnesota Timberwolves are 5-point favorites to beat the Dallas Mavericks tonight in Game 2. Tipoff from Target Center in Minneapolis is set for 8:30 p.m. ET on TNT.

With that surprising 108-105 road win in Game 1, the Mavericks now own the second-shortest NBA championship odds and carry a 1-0 series lead into the second game of this star-studded series. The win also pushed Luka Doncic ahead of Anthony Edwards in the latest 2024 NBA Finals MVP odds, with those two trailing Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum.

To accompany our Mavericks vs. Timberwolves parlay and Luka Doncic player props, here are our best Mavericks vs. Timberwolves player props and NBA picks (odds via our best NBA betting sites; Pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Mavericks vs. Timberwolves prop bet predictions for today

Luka Doncic Over 37.5 points + assists ⭐⭐⭐

"Whoever wins this series, the face of the league is coming out," said Kenny Smith on Inside the NBA ahead of Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. Charles Barkley responded in the most Chuck way by saying, "that was one of the dumbest things I've ever heard." But I agree with Kenny.

Doncic sure played like the face of the league in Game 1 with 33 points and eight assists. Minnesota couldn't stop his ability to finish in traffic, draw fouls, and kick it out to his teammates.

If Dallas wins this series, it'll be because Doncic takes over. He's averaging 36.7 points and assists in the playoffs and has topped 37.5 in three straight games. I love the value with these odds, which imply a 50% win probability, according to our odds converter, with a $10 bet paying out $20.

Anthony Edwards Over 1.5 steals ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Edwards lost? Queue all the think pieces about how he's just not ready or doesn't possess the same skill as Doncic, or anything else that minimizes how freakin' good he is at basketball. What a joy it is to watch Edwards and Doncic bare-knuckle box on both ends. If only we were allowed to appreciate two superstars at the same time.

For all of Edwards' "struggles" lately, he continues to be a disruptive defensive dynamo. His explosiveness and aggressiveness are like watching Roquan Smith play basketball. Edwards is averaging 1.8 steals in the playoffs and has gone Over 1.5 in eight of 12 postseason games, including in Game 1.

I expected these odds to be slightly longer because the Mavericks are in the top half of the NBA in steals allowed per game (7.4). With an implied win probability of 51.22%, this prop pays out at $19.52.

Jaden McDaniels Over 12.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nothing hammers home the depth of Minnesota's roster like seeing Jaden McDaniels, the Timberwolves' defensive stopper, step up as their most prolific scorer in the Western Conference Finals. The All-Defensive Second-Teamer led the T-Wolves with 24 points in Game 1 against Dallas.

It was clear his range and length were giving the Mavericks problems, and he was the catalyst for Minnesota's offense on a less-than-stellar night from Ant-Man and Karl-Anthony Towns. McDaniels has been on a heater lately, too. Not only is he averaging 13.3 points in the playoffs, but he's notched three straight 21-plus-point performances.

That's why I'm jumping at these even-money odds. This same prop is hovering around -111 at our other best sportsbooks, implying a 52.61% probability it hits. But our odds pay a $10 profit on a $10 bet.
