These two Eastern Conference contenders have both struggled with their shooting in the early stages of the season, leading to plenty of low-scoring games.
New York and Philadelphia are a joint 8-2 to the Under, and they combined for just 206 points in the season opener.
While the Knicks and 76ers rank bottom-10 in points per game and bottom-four in field-goal percentage, both squads have elite defenses. That will result in an easy Under here at the overinflated total of 230.5. I wagered at FanDuel's market-best -110 odds.

Tyrese Maxey leads this star-studded 76ers team in usage rate, resulting in him taking and making the most shots on Philadelphia. Maxey has totaled Over 23.5 points in every game this season, including the season-opening win over the Knicks.
The two-time NBA All-Star has consistently scored the basketball against New York in his career. He's averaging 28.8 points per game over his last 10 regular-season outings versus the Knicks. I wagered a half-unit on Maxey to tally at least 24 points tonight at FanDuel's -112 price tag.

Landry Shamet Over 1.5 3-pointers (-112 via DraftKings)
With both OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges struggling from deep, the Knicks have needed Landry Shamet's long-range game.
He's averaging 2.4 made 3-point field goals this season and has exceeded this total in both Knicks road contests so far. Shamet has also had shooting success in front of a Philadelphia crowd that's tough on opposing teams: He's hit at least two 3-pointers in three of four road games against the 76ers since joining New York.
I backed Shamet to hit at least two shots from deep at DraftKings' -112 odds.
