Uncertainty surrounds multiple lineups on NBA Trade Deadline day. Our Bulls vs. Nets NBA picks are based on the best NBA odds.

The Brooklyn Nets will be without Kevin Durant for tonight’s matchup against the Chicago Bulls, but it won’t be because he’s injured. Durant and T.J. Warren were traded to the Phoenix Suns last night for Cam Johnson, Mikal Bridges, Jae Crowder, and picks.

The Bulls may be down a superstar of their own, as DeMar DeRozan is listed as questionable after sitting out Monday.

There’s no telling what the starting lineups will look like for either squad tonight, so the spread and point total are both likely to shift multiple times throughout the day. Keep an eye on all of today’s trades before making a wager on any NBA contest.

Here is our best Bulls vs. Nets NBA pick (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Bulls vs. Nets pick

Zach LaVine Over 25.5 points (-115 via DraftKings) vs. Nets ⭐⭐⭐

The Nets are faced with a logjam of epic proportions after yesterday’s trade of Durant and last week’s trade of Kyrie Irving. It’s likely the team makes some more deals before the 3 p.m. ET trade deadline, so it’s nearly impossible to get a handle on who will start (let alone play) for Brooklyn tonight. It’s tempting to bet on the Bulls ML, but with DeRozan trending toward being out, we’ll stay away from spread, ML, or point total wagers for this game.

Instead, we’ll turn our attention to a player prop that’s a much safer option. Zach LaVine’s scoring prop is set at 25.5, and we’re taking the Over. LaVine is averaging exactly 25.5 points per game on the road this season, but 10 of his last 16 games with at least 26 points have come outside of Chicago. LaVine averages 23.2 points with DeRozan in the lineup and 28.5 with him sidelined, so this one gets a boost if the latter can’t go.

The odds on this one aren’t too varied, so you can bet this one on DraftKings, BetMGM, and PointsBet at -115. If you want to sell a point to get a safer bet on alternate line of 24.5, FanDuel offers it at -140, DraftKings offers it at -130, and PointsBet offers it at -145.

Brooklyn is 13-12-1 ATS at home, 9-9-1 as the home favorite, and 8-2 over the last 10 games. The Nets have lost two in a row, but have covered in three straight. The Bulls are 11-7-1 as the road dog this season and 22-11-2 against Eastern Conference opponents. Chicago has covered in three of its last four.

The Under has attracted 58% of wagers, despite being set at a fairly low total of just 228.5.
