If you read my Game 1 preview, my picks shouldn't surprise you. I liked the Valkyries' second-quarter spread and first-half dominance in that matchup, too. Golden State used a 37-11 second-quarter advantage to lead by 17 at the break.
The Valkyries could follow a similar script on Wednesday, as their depth advantage really shines in the second quarter when Paige Bueckers rests for the Wings. Golden State led the WNBA in second-quarter net rating (+26.1) and first-half net rating (+17.3) during the regular season, thanks to its superior bench.
The Wings are more of a fourth-quarter team, so if Game 2 is closer it will be because of their effort in crunch time.

After her performance in Game 1, Paige Bueckers is the only Wings player I feel comfortable backing in a playoff game right now. Bueckers finished with 21 points, six rebounds, and two assists on Sunday.
I could see Bueckers having another big offensive night, but I'd rather target her rebound line. She's cleared 3.5 rebounds in five straight games. Bueckers has finished with at least four boards in 75% of her previous 25 contests.
The Wings need to crash the glass and attack the Valkyries off misses to have a chance, so don't be surprised if that's something else that Bueckers takes care of for Dallas.
