My Lynx vs. Liberty prediction favors Minnesota's chances of forcing a Game 3 when the two teams meet at 8:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., airing on USA Network.
Despite losing Game 1, Minnesota is a 3.5-point betting favorite in Game 2 and remains a co-favorite in the WNBA championship odds. I like the idea of targeting a fast start for the Lynx.

The Lynx are now 3.5-point favorites on the road in Game 2 after the spread opened at 1.5. Rather than be late to chase the steam, I'm backing Minnesota's first-half spread. The Lynx need a stronger start to take care of business in Game 2.
Fortunately for the Lynx, they weren't afraid of any environment during the regular season. They ranked third in the WNBA with a +7.6 net rating in the first half of road contests.
Don't be surprised if the Lynx control this one from start to finish.

Sabrina Ionescu continued her recent struggles in Sunday's Game 1. She finished with 13 points on 14 shots, recording six assists and zero rebounds. It marked the seventh time in her past eight games that Ionescu has failed to clear this combo line.
The Liberty won't be able to make a deep run unless Ionescu starts to perform better, but I'll bet against that happening on Tuesday in a game I expect the Lynx to win. Ionescu failed to clear this combo line nine times in 15 losses during the regular season.
It also doesn't hurt that the Lynx rank third in the league in defending pick-and-roll ball-handlers, per Props Madness.
