Last year, the Aces closed the regular season on a 16-game win streak. This time around, they've won six straight. Since Aug. 20, the Aces have led the WNBA with a +24.2 net rating.
I believe the winner of this series might just claim the title. I'll side with the Aces in a decisive opener.

Becky Hammon's Aces will likely switch on defense, but I'm not certain they have the personnel to deal with Kelsey Mitchell's speed. That's probably why she averaged 27.3 points per game in three matchups against the Aces.
Caitlin Clark, on the other hand, averaged 16 points in two meetings with Las Vegas. Part of that is Mitchell's success, but the Aces can use their length to disrupt Clark's scoring. Las Vegas is also third in transition defense, per Props Madness, which is how Clark earns 19% of her scoring production.
In addition, Clark failed to clear this scoring line in 75% of Indiana's losses. Since I believe the Aces will win, fading Clark makes too much sense.

I trust the defending champs to set the tone in Game 1, led by the league's best player. A'ja Wilson has scored at least 25 points in four of her past six matchups against the Fever, dating back to last year's semifinals.
