The Aces could finish as the No. 2 seed, but they need the Valkyries to lose to the Sparks tonight. Both games tip off at 10 p.m. ET, so Las Vegas will likely be monitoring the score.
That's why I don't like the full-game spread - the Aces may take their foot off the gas if the Valkyries start routing the Sparks, which likely wouldn't happen until later in the game. What we do know is that the Aces will have motivation to play hard for at least the first half. Aces first half -5.5 (-113 via FanDuel) is the best line available among the top sports betting sites.

Alyssa Thomas enters tonight tied with Caitlin Clark at 8.5 assists per game to lead the W. Clark faces the Lynx tonight - tipoff is set for 8 p.m. ET - so she actually has an easier path to finishing with the most assists per game, as the Lynx allow more (20.6) than the Aces (18.9).
There are multiple angles driving this bet, though, as Thomas will be more willing as a passer to try to pass Clark, and if the Aces no longer have a shot at the No. 2 seed, Thomas will be able to pad her stats against bench players.
