I followed up my 0.31 units of profit from Monday’s Round of 16 picks with a 3-1 day (+2.15 units) yesterday, and now my US Open Quarterfinal best bets for day two on Wednesday look to make it three straight profitable days.
With four matches on the day’s slate, I make my top wager for each of the two on the men’s and women’s sides. I varied my wagers across four different types of props, creating a diversified portfolio of US Open picks in the last action before the semifinal round.

| 💰 Pick | ⚖️ Bet size (units) | 🧠 Why I bet this |
|---|---|---|
| Elena Rybakina -3.5 games vs. Qinwen Zheng (-115 via Caesars) | 1u → 0.87u | Rybakina should capitalize if and when Zheng puts herself into an early hole |
| Mirra Andreeva to win Over 11.5 games vs. Coco Gauff (-120 via bet365) | 1u → 0.83u | There isn’t enough of a talent gap between these two players for Andreeva to lose in straight sets |
| Karen Khachanov ML vs. Alexander Blockx (-164 via FanDuel) | 1u → 0.61u | Khachanov is playing like the guy who reached the US Open semis in 2022 |
| Alexander Zverev to beat Botic van de Zandschulp 3 sets to 1 (+260 via Caesars) | 1u → 2.6u | The Dutch’s 5-1 record in tiebreaks to this point has me confident he can steal a set |

🎯 Elena Rybakina -3.5 games vs. Qinwen Zheng (-115)
The fact that Qinwen Zheng is still playing in this tournament is remarkable. It’s not for a lack of talent, as the 2024 Olympic Gold medalist also won three other titles that year while finishing ranked No. 7. But after being out with an elbow injury from Sept. 2025 to Feb. 2026, she fell to No. 160 while losing 12 of her first 26 matches.
It’s not just the rebound from that poor 14-12 stretch that is surprising. Zheng came back from 0-5 and match point against Madison Keys, and followed that up by winning the first set against Iga Swiatek in which she was down 0-5 and faced three set points.
Zheng has won seven consecutive games in two straight matches. But No. 2 seed Elena Rybakina is too consistent to go through a poor stretch like that, and I’d expect her to slam the door and capitalize on a lopsided set (or two) if Zheng puts herself in that position again.

🎯 Mirra Andreeva to win Over 11.5 games vs. Coco Gauff (-120)
Coco Gauff has made it look easy through her first four US Open wins, never dropping a set and only losing more than four games in a set once. And while Gauff is a perfect 5-0 head-to-head against Mirra Andreeva, four of those matches were on clay. The No. 5 seed has come a long way from her 3-6, 2-6 loss to Gauff in the Round of 64 at this Grand Slam.
Andreeva may not end Gauff’s 10-match WTA main draw winning streak. But I’m also not buying the trend that Gauff has covered the game spread in all five head-to-head matches, since most were not on hard surface. The moment won’t be too big for Andreeva, who is a fast-rising star with this being her fifth Grand Slam quarterfinal at 19 years old, while she looks for her 45th win of this calendar year.

🎯 Karen Khachanov ML vs. Alexander Blockx (-164)
Karen Khachanov was an underdog and facing an opponent who had the overwhelming crowd support in his last match in No. 14 seed Learner Tien, who is on his way to a top-10 ranking. But Khachanov overcame a two sets to one deficit with two dominant sets to finish the comeback, only losing five games in the process.
Khachanov entered that match with an 83% career service hold rate at Flushing Meadows, and has been broken just six total times in his last two matches. He already had confidence from his win over Felix Auger-Aliassime, his second win over a top-10 player in the last seven years. Now comparatively this match against No. 28 seed Alexander Blockx should feel like a cakewalk even if the Belgian has covered the game spread in six consecutive Grand Slam matches.

🎯 Alexander Zverev to beat Botic van de Zandschulp 3 sets to 1 (+260)
Many have already booked Alexander Zverev’s spot in the US Open final (which would be his second appearance) given that he would need to beat two unseeded players to get there if Khachanov wins as projected. But the No. 1 seed has hardly had an easy go of it with two five-set matches to this point, and the Dutch’s serve has been clicking too much for him to lose this match in straight sets.
Even in Zverev’s last two straight-set victories, he has needed one tiebreak win in each. Well van de Zandschulp is 5-1 in tiebreaks in this Grand Slam, and had the resolve to fend off 14 break points in what was the fourth-longest match in US Open history in the Round of 16.
Zverev is 10-0 SU and 9-1 covering the game spread in his last 10 ATP quarterfinal matches, but the value is there for the Dutch to steal a set even if he cannot pull the outright upset. And from a value perspective, the +260 odds offered at Caesars trump the next-highest odds available (+240 at FanDuel).
