Sunday’s race at the Marina Bay Street Circuit (8 a.m. ET, ESPN) is full of intrigue, as five drivers have a winning implied probability of at least 13%.

I’m backing Max Verstappen to win his second straight race in my Singapore Grand Prix predictions. Verstappen is the betting favorite, and the Dutchman is trading just in front of Kimi Antonelli, Lando Norris, and Ferrari teammates Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc.

Pick to win Singapore Grand Prix: Max Verstappen (+210)

I backed Verstappen to win the Bahrain Grand Prix, and he did precisely that. His first win of the season was on the cards, as Verstappen took second place in the previous two races. He’s now secured a podium finish in six of the last seven GPs.

His current scintillating form isn’t the only reason I’m backing him, though. With the second-slowest average speed, the Singapore GP is full of twists and turns. It’s a street race that favors experience, expertise and technical ability.

And Red Bull’s car has improved substantially since the start of the season and has the best in-class power unit, per the FIA’s ADUO benchmarking.

Kimi Antonelli top-3 finish (-120)

No matter the track, Antonelli is always in a position to take the checkered flag. The Italian superstar never seems fazed despite still being a teenager.

He finished second at the Bahrain GP, making it six podium finishes in the previous seven races. Antonelli won three of those races.

The 19-year-old finished among the top three in 13 of 16 races this season. While the Marina Bay Street Circuit doesn’t suit Mercedes as well as other teams, Antonelli has consistently shown his ability to finish at the top of the pack.

Lewis Hamilton top-3 finish (+115)

I like what I saw from Hamilton in Malaysia last week, as the Brit secured his first podium finish in seven races. Hamilton struggled at the start of the race after choosing soft tires. It was a gamble that didn’t pay off.

However, Hamilton attacked the field thereafter, something he plans to do throughout the weekend in Singapore.

The Marina Bay Street Circuit suits Ferrari's strengths, particularly cornering. A high-downforce setup is required, and there aren’t nearly as many straights as on other tracks. That should help bridge the slight performance gap that remains between Ferrari and, most notably, Mercedes.
