Thank you, Carson Hocevar, for a losing night at Bristol last week – we still cashed a slip for Ryan Preece to score a top 10, but losing the Ryan Blaney tickets was tough. Let's turn things around with my NASCAR predictions at Kansas for the 2026 Hollywood Casino 400!
The action is scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m. ET (USA Network) from Kansas Speedway. Practice and qualifying will get underway on Saturday at 10 a.m. ET (truTV).

💡 How to bet NASCAR at Kansas Speedway
Kansas Speedway is one of several high-speed intermediate tracks on the Cup Series calendar. As its surface has aged, tire wear has begun to play a more prominent role, increasing the significance of racecraft at the expense of raw speed.
To handicap this weekend’s action at Kansas, we’ll lean heavily on the results from the first Kansas race, but we’ll also look at similar tracks like Charlotte and Las Vegas. Still, we’ll make sure to target drivers who can manage tire wear over a long run and don’t merely rely on fast equipment.
🏆 Best bet to win the Hollywood Casino 400
Tyler Reddick, 23XI Racing (No. 45)

I’m a big fan of 23XI Racing in this spot, but especially Tyler Reddick. Reddick won at Kansas in the spring, and while he only led 10 laps, he ran the fourth-most fastest laps (22) and posted the second-best average green-flag speed.
The win wasn’t Reddick’s first at Kansas – he also won here with 23XI Racing in 2023. I also liked the speed I saw from this team at Charlotte. Reddick led 119 laps from the pole in this year’s Coca-Cola 600 and posted the third-best average green-flag speed among drivers who finished the race.
While Reddick’s hot start to the season has worn off, this is a great get-right spot for the No. 45 team, and we’re getting him at a discounted price relative to the favorites, Larson (+350) and Hamlin (+425).

Bubba Wallace, 23XI Racing (No. 23)

Wallace, Reddick’s teammate at 23XI Racing, also looked fast here in the spring. He posted the fifth-best average green-flag speed en route to a fifth-place finish. Wallace also finished fifth here last fall, and, like Reddick, has found Victory Lane here in the past. He scored a big win in relief of Kurt Busch in the fall of 2022 after leading 58 laps. The Toyotas dominated the high-speed intermediates early in the year, and I haven’t seen enough to believe either the Ford or Chevrolet camps have caught up.
Ryan Preece, RFK Racing (No. 60)

These odds are egregious. Preece finished 11th here in the spring, and both of his RFK Racing teammates finished inside the top 10. Preece also finished 11th at Las Vegas (on the ninth-best average green-flag speed). While I’m skeptical of the Ford camps’ raw speed, Preece is one of the best drivers in the field at managing his tires, a skill we’ve seen him show off to hold onto top-10 results in the past few weeks. Preece is +4500 to win at most books, save DraftKings, and +200 to score a top 10. Lock him in at this mispriced number before it disappears.
