🔮 Best CFL predictions: ATS, ML, O/U
Lions -3.5 (-115 via BetMGM)
The Lions have gone 6-1 straight up and 5-2 against the spread (ATS) since Nathan Rourke returned from injury in Week 10. The 2025 Most Outstanding Player (MOP) has recorded a passer rating over 127 four times in that span.
The Argonauts beat the Lions in Week 8 - with Chase Brice and Kaidon Salter playing quarterback for BC - but Toronto will likely struggle to keep this game close now that Rourke is healthy and Chad Kelly is out with a right-hand injury.
Alouettes -6.5 (-105 via theScore Bet)
At first glance, 6.5 points could be seen as a high spread when facing a desperate Blue Bombers team. However, the Alouettes are the clear-cut betting favorite in the Grey Cup odds and are undefeated at home this season.
Why do I like Montreal to win by margin in this spot? The Alouettes will have motivation to run up the score after losing by 16 points in their last meeting with the Blue Bombers. Montreal is 8-1 straight up and ATS in its last nine games as a favorite.
💰 Best CFL player props for Week 18
Davis Alexander Under 296.5 passing yards (-115 via bet365)
Alexander is the -370 betting favorite in the MOP odds, so there could be motivation for him to pad his stats late in an Alouettes win. However, this bias is reflected way too heavily in this line.
Alexander has passed for 296 or fewer yards in four of his last five games (and he passed for just 297 in the outlier). With bet365 being one of the only sportsbooks to hang a line on Alexander's passing yards at the time of publication, expect this number to drop at least five yards as more books get involved.
Tyson Philpot anytime TD scorer (-120 via DraftKings)
Philpot still has an outside shot at winning MOP, as he has recorded eight touchdowns across his last six games.
I'm also not against parlaying this with Alexander's Under on passing yards (+360 via bet365). While they're negatively correlated, Alexander's passing yards line is way too high, which gives us a lot of wiggle room on this two-leg parlay. Under 296.5 passing yards for Alexander parlayed with a Philpot anytime TD has hit in each of the last two weeks (and four of the last five).
