The Calgary Stampeders and Toronto Argonauts faceoff under the Friday night lights as the CFL Week 12 slate rolls into the weekend. Here is our best Stampeders vs. Argonauts prediction based on the latest CFL odds from the best sportsbooks in Canada.

This is a big game for the Toronto Argonauts.

Only three weeks ago, the Calgary Stampeders handed the defending champs and betting favorites in the Grey Cup odds their only loss of the season. Now, the Argos have a prime opportunity to make a statement at BMO Field in front of their fans and following their final bye week of the campaign.

Not only did Calgary pull off the 20-7 win, but they sent Toronto quarterback Chad Kelly to the sideline, as the favorite to win the CFL's Most Outstanding Player award left early in the second quarter with an ankle injury.

Our best sports betting sites have Toronto trading as a double-digit favorite, so the Argos avenging the defeat and handing the Stamps their third consecutive loss shouldn’t surprise.

Here is our best Stampeders vs. Argonauts prediction for Week 12 (odds via our best betting sites in Canada; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

I’m looking for the Argos aerial attack to light up the sky Friday after being held to just 157 passing yards in Week 9 on the road in Calgary.

Daniels is coming off his best game of the season, leads Toronto in receiving yards and averages a healthy 21.6 yards per catch. And, while he’s definitely reliant on breaking off chunk plays, my projection of him hauling in 57.2 receiving yards is right in line with the 55.5 total FanDuel is hanging.

I’d price this Over 46.5 at -203, with a positive expected value of 23% on the DraftKings number. For comparison, the Over 55.5 receiving yards through FanDuel checks out at -1% expected value, so it further reaffirms my projections and pricing.

Stampeders vs. Argonauts odds analysis

This spread has moved in the Toronto direction from a near consensus opening number of Argonauts -9.5. There are two notable trends heading into the matchup, too. Calgary is 6-1-2 against the spread in its past nine trips to Toronto, and the Argos are 5-0 ATS following a bye week.

I think this line will continue to hover around 10 at our best sports betting apps.
