My CFL best bets for Week 19 focus on Friday's two-game slate.
We back the Tiger-Cats and fade Cody Fajardo as the Elks visit Hamilton at 7 p.m. ET. Then, we lay the points with the Lions and take the Over on a Nathan Rourke prop when BC hosts the Redblacks at 10 p.m. ET.

🔮 Best CFL predictions: ATS, ML, O/U
Tiger-Cats +6.5 (-110 via FanDuel)
The Tiger-Cats may have nothing to play for (in theory), but it's almost as if the games meaning less has made them play better.
They covered as a 9.5-point underdog in a two-point overtime loss in Edmonton in Week 17, then followed up that performance with a cover as a 1.5-point underdog in an 18-point win in Ottawa.
The Elks and Tiger-Cats allow 347.7 and 365.9 yards per game, respectively, so these defenses are much closer than this spread suggests. I expect another close matchup between these teams.
Lions -13.5 (-110 via FanDuel)
The Lions have arguably been the best team in the CFL since Rourke returned from injury in Week 10 (and now have the fourth-shortest Grey Cup odds).
They have a +68 point differential across those eight games and have covered the spread by an average margin of 4.75 points per game in that span. The Redblacks, meanwhile, have been the Redblacks. They're still winless on the season and have lost back-to-back games (to the Tiger-Cats and Stampeders) by 14 or more points.
💰 Best CFL player props for Week 19
Cody Fajardo Under 293.5 passing yards (-115 via DraftKings)
This isn't as much of a play against Fajardo as it is a play on the Tiger-Cats' secondary.
The Tiger-Cats allow the fewest passing yards per game (276.1), and since they also allow the fourth-most rushing yards (101.1), I expect Fajardo to lean on the Elks' run game. Justin Rankin and ShunDerrick Powell combined for 16 carries when these teams met in Week 17, and Fajardo threw for just 286 yards in regulation.
Nathan Rourke 300+ passing yards (-110 via bet365)
It's tough not to take the Over on Rourke's passing yards as he makes an outside push to win Most Outstanding Player for the second straight season.
He has the third-shortest odds (behind Davis Alexander and Tyson Philpot) and has thrown for more than 300 yards in seven of his eight games since returning from injury in Week 10. Luckily for Rourke, he faces a Redblacks defense that ranks last in passing yards allowed per game (347.7).
