Two of the best teams in baseball meet for a sixth and final time in the regular season, and we are covering it from multiple angles with our Los Angeles Dodgers-Atlanta Braves same-game parlay picks.

Anytime the Dodgers and Braves meet on the diamond, it is must-watch television, especially after facing off in each of the last two National League Championship Series. The Dodgers own a slim 3-2 head-to-head lead in the season series over the Braves, but Atlanta would stay unbeaten in its last six home series with a win in Sunday's rubber match, as the team is 4-0-1 in its previous five.

Here are my same-game parlay picks for the Sunday Night Baseball matchup between the Dodgers and Braves (odds via FanDuel Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Dodgers vs. Braves Same Game Parlay Picks

Same Game Parlay Predictions for Sunday Night Baseball

Gonsolin Under 5.5 strikeouts (-102)

Tony Gonsolin has been arguably the best pitcher in baseball to this point, as he is the only one with nine wins and zero losses, and his 1.58 ERA would lead the league if he had enough innings to qualify. However, Gonsolin's 68 1.3 innings this season are already a career-high, as he spent much of his first three seasons as a reliever or spot starter in an "opener" role.

Fatigue may already be settling in for Gonsolin, as he has allowed as many home runs in June (three) as he did through the first 45 innings this season. Giving up the long ball is a dangerous way to make a living when facing a Braves lineup that ranks second in baseball with 110 home runs. Atlanta's 19-4 record since May 31 (the best in baseball) is largely a product of its league-leading .517 slugging percentage and NL-leading 132 wRC+ in that span.

Gonsolin has had five or fewer strikeouts in three of four June starts, and facing a red-hot Braves offense could mean a much shorter outing than usual, as his streak of nine consecutive starts with five or more innings pitched is in jeopardy.

Turner to record an RBI (+180)

Justin Turner has not hit worse than .260 in a season since 2011 and has finished over .300 three times in the last five seasons. Thus, Turner's current .222 batting average is a statistical anomaly and we expect some positive regression for the Dodgers slugger.

Turner may already be in the midst of a mid-season breakout, as he has five hits in his last 12 at-bats and has recorded at least one hit in five of the previous seven games. In addition, Turner has five extra-base hits this month, but four have come within the last week.

Atlanta's Spencer Strider has allowed a higher batting average to righties instead of lefties (.188 compared to .180). By hitting in the middle of the powerful Dodgers lineup, Turner consistently has RBI chances.

Swanson to record a hit (-175)

Dansby Swanson to record a hit is our chalkiest pick of the parlay, but he still has just the third-best odds of any Braves hitter (behind Ronald Acuna and Austin Riley) to get a hit. That is incredible value for a player of Swanson's caliber, as he has been one of Atlanta's most consistent hitters this season and has been tearing the cover off the ball of late.

Swanson is hitting .448 and slugging .931 over his last seven games, has a .410 average over his previous 15, and is hitting .363 over his last 30. He enters tonight on an eight-game hitting streak and has multiple hits in four of his previous five. Considering he also has a home run and a wOBA of .375 in seven career at-bats against Gonsolin, we like for Swanson to extend his hitting streak again.

Combined Odds: Gonsolin Under 5.5 strikeouts (-102) + Turner to record an RBI (+180) + Swanson to record a hit (-175) = +764
