The unbeaten and 16th-ranked Ole Miss Rebels are laying just over three touchdowns in their final game against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane before the start of SEC play.

In what will be the final non-conference game for both teams, Tulsa is set to take on Ole Miss this Saturday afternoon.

After opening the season with an overtime loss at Wyoming, Tulsa (1-2 ATS, 3-0 O/U) has managed to rebound with a pair of home wins. Meanwhile, Ole Miss (2-1 ATS, 1-2 O/U) is coming off a 42-0 shutout of Georgia Tech. The Rebels are 3-0 and ranked 16th in this week’s AP Poll.

Here are our top picks for the Week 4 matchup between Tulsa and Ole Miss. (odds via FanDuel Sportsbook and DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5 star scale)

Tulsa vs. Ole Miss Picks

  • Side: Tulsa +21.5 (-104 via FanDuel) ★★
  • Total: Over 65 (-110 via DraftKings) ★★★
  • Prop: Tulsa First Half Team Total — Over 11.5 (-105 via DraftKings) ★★★

Tulsa vs. Ole Miss ATS Pick

Tulsa +21.5 (-104) ★★

Based on how Ole Miss dominated a Power 5 opponent last week, it’s no wonder more than 80% of the betting action is laying points with the Rebels. Even so, bettors should be cautious given how capable Tulsa is offensively.

The Golden Hurricane scored 37 or more points in each of their three games this season. With future NFL wideout Keylon Stokes his primary target, junior quarterback Davis Brin has shredded opposing defenses. Tulsa has averaged 391 passing yards per game, the third-most of any FBS team.

With such an explosive passing attack, the Hurricane will likely keep things respectable Saturday. While this is easily Tulsa’s toughest defensive opponent, Ole Miss has yet to face a comparable aerial attack. This could also be a lookahead spot for the Rebels, knowing their next week SEC opener is against a top-10 Kentucky team.

Tulsa vs. Ole Miss O/U Pick

Over 65 (-110) ★★★

Opening lines set the game total at 66.5. While most of the betting market is currently at 65.5, DraftKings has dipped down a half-point lower.

Tulsa has enough weapons to score more points than your typical three-touchdown underdog. Not to be outdone, this contest also might be a favorable matchup for Ole Miss. The Rebels' rushing attack looked practically unstoppable through the first three games of the season.

Ole Miss running back Zach Evans may be the familiar backfield name, but the Rebels actually have a three-man stable. Freshman RBs Quinshon Judkins and Ulysses Bentley have helped Ole Miss average 291 rushing yards per game, college football's third-most. The Rebs’ O line should have no trouble dictating terms against a smaller Tulsa defense.

Tulsa vs. Ole Miss Prop Pick

Tulsa first half team total Over 11.5 (-105) ★★★

It’s not atypical to see the underdog enjoy a higher second-half team total. Of course, that's because the favored side will ease up defensively in the second half, thus opening the door to garbage time scoring chances. Curiously, Tulsa’s first and second-half team totals for Saturday’s contest are both set at 11.5.

Through three games, the Golden Hurricane offense has been very fruitful in the second quarter. Tulsa totaled 17 second-quarter points against both Wyoming and Northern Illinois. Second-quarter output ballooned to 28 last week against FCS-level Jacksonville State.

It's difficult to expect similar offensive production against a Power 5 opponent. Despite this, Ole Miss better show up focused and ready. Tulsa’s talented and savvy receiving corps is fully capable of getting off to a quick start.
