The college football bowl season is winding down but ahead of the New Year's Six games, Ohio will meet Wyoming in the Arizona Bowl. Read on for our top Ohio vs. Wyoming college football picks based on the best NCAAF odds

After starting the season 3-3, the Bobcats won six games in a row to advance to the MAC title game. However, their winning streak ended there, as the offense struggled to produce and Ohio lost to the Toledo Rockets 17-7.

The Cowboys started the season 7-3, but they ended the year losing two in a row to the Fresno State Bulldogs and Boise State Broncos. Despite ending the year above .500, the Cowboys allowed more points than they scored this season.

Here is our best Ohio vs. Wyoming college football pick for the Arizona Bowl (odds via BetMGM; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

The Bobcats opened as 3-point favorites, and while they are still favored by two at some sportsbooks, others have them listed as just one-point favorites. On Pregame.com, bettors are just as divided as the sportsbooks, as 58% of the cash backs the Cowboys and 64% of the tickets back the Bobcats.

Ohio vs. Wyoming Pick

Ohio -1 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Bobcats will be taking on a tough defense without starting quarterback Kurtis Rourke, who threw for 3,256 yards, 25 touchdowns, and just four interceptions this season. Rourke will be replaced by CJ Harris, who started the final two games of the season for Ohio. Harris didn’t put up inspiring numbers in either of his games, but he did go 1-1 overall.

Even with Harris under center, the Bobcats are the better team in this one. The Cowboys have really struggled this season, and are very lucky to be bowl eligible. They came close to losing to the 3-9 Colorado State Rams and led by just six over the 2-10 New Mexico Lobos with one minute remaining in the game.

For the season, the Cowboys scored 20 points just once against a team that finished the year with a winning record. That won’t bode well for them against a team that is averaging 31.9 points per game. While most of the Bobcats’ scoring came with Rourke under center, they did score 38 in Harris’ first game as a starter.

This Cowboys’ defense isn’t as good as it has been in years past. Despite allowing only 23.4 points per game, they have allowed 30 or more points five times this season. Yet, the offense has only scored 30 twice this year. If Harris can get the Bobcats into the mid-20s, this game won’t be close.

Ohio vs. Wyoming Best Odds

BetMGM (-115)

DraftKings FanDuel BetMGM Caesars PointsBet
Ohio -1.5 Ohio -2.5 Ohio -1 Ohio -2 Ohio -1.5
(-110) (-104) (-115) (-113) (-110)

There is very little agreement about what this spread should be at the five major sportsbooks. FanDuel has the largest spread with Ohio favored by 2.5, and they are offering the best price at -104. PointsBet and DraftKings are the only two books in agreement, both with Ohio listed as 1.5-point favorites.

It’s really hard to tell where this line is going to move considering there is such a discrepancy between the books. However, the best line belongs to BetMGM, which is essentially offering this game as a pick ‘em. To take the Bobcats on the moneyline, the price is -125, yet to take them at -1, the price is -115.
