Bryce Underwood Under 27.5 Rushing Yards (-114 via FanDuel)

The No. 11 Oklahoma Sooners have a far superior defensive front than Western Michigan does. And that may be all the analysis that is needed when it comes to Michigan quarterback Bryce Underwood’s rushing output.

He gained 47 yards on nine carries against the Broncos last week in that close call, but what may be most notable in that stat line is that it includes just one sack for a loss of two yards.

The Sooners should harrass Underwood into a few sacks, each of those pushing him further from this modest rushing prop.

CJ Carr 3+ Passing Touchdowns (+115 via DraftKings)

Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr did not find his passing rhythm against the Wisconsin Badgers on Sunday night, but if the No. 3 Irish are going to climb to the heights they hope to, Carr needs to be one of the most prolific passers in the country.

Expect Notre Dame to emphasize a few explosive plays in the first half against the Rice Owls, more to build a routine for Carr than to distance the Owls, the latter likely never a concern this weekend.

Darius Taylor Under 94.5 Rushing Yards (-114 via FanDuel)

Minnesota may have blown out FCS-level Eastern Illinois last week, but the Gophers never overpowered the Panthers. They outright struggled to move the line of scrimmage near the goal line, a concerning thought for Minnesota’s entire season.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs should prove much stouter up front and thus stifle running back Darius Taylor’s productivity in what should be a tense game in Minneapolis.
