I flip flopped a bit on my best bet for this game. Liberty appears to be the side to back on paper, especially after a 51-14 win over Ball State in Week 3. Ultimately, I've settled for Under 50.5, as Coastal Carolina hosts its first FBS opponent in 2026.
The public is hammering Over 50.5 points in this matchup. 89 percent of public bettors are taking Over 50.5, creating value on the point total under.
Liberty is the key to this under hitting. The Flames have not allowed more than 23 points to an opponent in 2026, and ironically, Gardner-Webb (FCS) managed to outscore James Madison and Ball State.
