No. 2 Georgia gets its first chance to prove why it is the class of the SEC in its first conference road game at Arkansas, but my Georgia vs. Arkansas prediction believes the line movement for this game now has the value lying with the home underdogs. I also add my top touchdown scorer play as part of our college football Week 3 predictions.

Kickoff from Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Ark., is set for noon ET (ABC). Georgia is a 24.5-point favorite.

Arkansas +24.5 (-104 via Caesars)

Georgia was steamed up from a lookahead line and opening number of -17.5 by more than a touchdown through another key number, and the new point spread of +24.5 was enough to get me to bite on Arkansas.

The Bulldogs haven’t been tested in wins over Tennessee State and Western Kentucky by an average of 55 points. But this line movement likely has more to do with Arkansas’ disappointing 43-10 loss at Utah last week.

Arkansas had to deal with Utah’s constant misdirection and creative play-calling, as evidenced by the Utes’ double pass for 36 yards on the first play from scrimmage. But Georgia’s offense is much more traditional and less “gimmicky,” and the Razorbacks have a good scouting report from facing Utah’s dual-threat quarterback Devon Dampier (who added 49 rushing yards) to game plan for Gunner Stockton.

📡 SBR Edge: Fading the public

Georgia is currently one of six AP top 25 teams getting at least 90% of the early ticket count at DraftKings. Five ranked teams got 90% or more of the ticket wagers last week (SMU, LSU, Georgia, USC, and Penn State) and went 2-3 ATS.

Georgia's pass defense won't replicate what Utah did

Utah frequently deployed an aggressive man-to-man defense against Arkansas last week, and it resulted in 13 pass breakups. That was the highest mark for the Utes since 1998, and isn’t something that can be relied on consistently from week-to-week.

WIth being able to complete more passes, Arkansas shouldn’t go another three quarters without a drive advancing past the opponent’s 30-yard line as it had last week.

Score prediction: Georgia 34, Arkansas 14
