College Football Moneyline Picks Week 3: Predictions to Win This Week
Below, I'm highlighting the best college football moneyline picks for what is shaping up to be an excellent Week 3. There will be three games between top-25 teams, and I'm making a pick for each of those contests, including No. 7 LSU vs. No. 8 Ole Miss and No. 22 Houston vs. No. 13 Texas Tech.
In all, I'm picking 24 games, and I expect seven underdogs to pull off upsets.

🔥 Best college football moneyline picks: Week 3
No. 23 Louisville (-115 via DraftKings) vs. No. 16 SMU
Bet size: 2 units
SMU turned the ball over four times against Florida State, and the one turnover they did force came because Florida State was attempting laterals to score on the last play. Dating back to last season, SMU quarterback Kevin Jennings has thrown at least one interception in 11 of his last 15 games. He has 15 total interceptions during that stretch.
Louisville has yet to turn the ball over this season, forcing two turnovers against Ole Miss and one against Villanova. And though quarterback Lincoln Kienholz had a slow start against Ole Miss, with him under center, Louisville's offense can make the most of turnovers. The unit scored 38 against Ole Miss, putting up 469 yards, and last week, Kienholz completed 76.2% of his passes for 332 yards.

SMU struggled to stop Florida State's rushing attack in Week 1, allowing 199 yards and two touchdowns. While Louisville runs a pass-first offense, the rushing attack has at least 162 yards and two touchdowns in each of its first two games.
No. 8 Ole Miss (+130 via DraftKings) vs. No. 7 LSU
Bet size: 1.5 units
After demolishing Clemson in Week 1, LSU led just 10-7 over Louisiana Tech at halftime last week. While LSU exploded for 35 points in the second half, Sam Leavitt's three interceptions have me concerned about LSU entering its first road game of the season.
Led by Trinidad Chambliss and Kewan Lacy, Ole Miss has scored 41 points in back-to-back games. And with Clemson scoring just 22 points against Georgia Southern last week, I'm wondering if LSU's defense is as good as Week 1 suggests, or if Clemson's offense is just bad.
Home-field advantage will also be massive for an Ole Miss team that has won 13 consecutive games at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. The Rebels defeated LSU 24-19 at home last year.
No. 22 Houston (+260 via FanDuel) vs. No. 13 Texas Tech
Bet size: 1 unit
After struggling with Abilene Christian in Week 1, Texas Tech allowed 472 yards to Oregon State, including 413 passing yards to Braden Atkinson. While Texas Tech ultimately escaped with an 11-point win, Oregon State led in the fourth quarter.
Texas Tech's run defense continues to dominate and held Oregon State to just 55 yards. Yet while Houston will look to run with Makhi Hughes and Re'Shaun Sanford II, quarterback Conner Weigman proved he can do damage through the air after throwing for 305 yards against Oregon State in Week 1.
In the end, I trust Houston's offense more. Texas Tech was outgained by 120 yards last week, while Houston has amassed at least 533 yards in both games thus far.
