🔥 Best college football moneyline picks: Week 2
No. 10 Oklahoma (-218 via DraftKings) vs. No. 16 Michigan
Bryce Underwood and the Michigan offense managed just 276 yards in Week 1, 47 of which came on the controversial game-winning Hail Mary. They also turned the ball over three times against a Western Michigan team that got outscored 61-6 by power conference teams last year.
Oklahoma steamrolled UTEP in Week 1, outgaining the Miners 401-198. Quarterback John Mateer threw for 225 yards and three touchdowns, despite playing only three quarters.
Based on Week 1 performances, I expected this spread to be greater than a touchdown, but oddsmakers seem reluctant to push the spread too far. That means a very favorable moneyline price, which is great for us.

Mateer faced Michigan last season. He threw for 270 yards and a touchdown, while adding 74 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. Oklahoma won that game 24-13.
No. 1 Ohio State (-102 via FanDuel) vs. No. 5 Texas
With Texas at home coming off a 52-point win, I'm not surprised that the spread has moved from a pick 'em to Texas -1.5. However, I'm worried about the Texas rush defense. The Longhorns allowed Texas State to rush for 161 yards and average 3.9 yards per carry in Week 1.
While all attention is on Julian Sayin and Arch Manning, I believe Bo Jackson will be the difference in this game. Last season, he averaged 6.1 yards per carry and at least 4.9 yards per attempt against both Indiana and Miami.
FanDuel is offering the best price for Ohio State, while some sportsbooks have the price set as high as -115.
New Mexico State (+300 via DraftKings) vs. Hawaii
For my final pick, I'm backing New Mexico State to win outright, despite being 9.5-point underdogs. New Mexico State went toe-to-toe with Florida State for the majority of its Week 0 contest, with Trey Hedden throwing for 272 yards and two touchdowns.
Additionally, Hawaii is allowing 203 rushing yards per game. Now the Rainbow Warriors need to slow down an offense that ran for 235 yards last week. Granted, New Mexico State's performance came against Mercer, but it still showed that this offense is capable of a well-balanced attack led by Hedden and running back James Jones.
Hawaii has also struggled offensively, managing just 4.10 yards per play. That ranks 121st in the nation.
