Running back Jeremiah Cobb is the only Auburn offensive starter who was with the team last season. That's a good thing, considering Auburn finished 74th in points per game, but Cobb averaged 5.5 yards per carry as he ran for 969 yards. I expect a hot start from a revamped offense against a Baylor defense that finished 122nd in scoring last year.
Both Auburn and Baylor add new quarterbacks, but Auburn made the better acquisition. Brown is a dual threat who should help Auburn improve offensively. Meanwhile, Baylor adds DJ Lagway, who threw 16 touchdowns and 14 interceptions last season.

Keshaun Singleton to score a touchdown (+125)
Brown and Cobb are the most likely players to score in this game, but both of them have odds of -180 or greater at every major sportsbook. Therefore, I'm backing Singleton, the new Auburn wide receiver who caught eight touchdown passes from Brown last season while both were with South Florida.
Singleton and Brown have a great rapport, as Singleton led South Florida in receptions and yards, and was tied for the team lead in touchdown receptions. And with Baylor allowing 17 passing touchdowns last season, there will be opportunities in this game.
🚀 Baylor vs. Auburn same-game parlay
I love Auburn in this game. Brown and Singleton have already proven they can be a dynamic duo, and Cobb should pick up right where he left off a year ago. Lagway was very inconsistent with Florida last season, and even if he has made strides, I expect him to struggle against a defense that allowed just 20.7 points per game last year. Therefore, for my parlay, I'm taking Auburn -13.5, as I think they should run away with this game, and Singleton to score.

Auburn covering -7.5 is one of my favorite plays of the entire weekend. While Brown played an easy conference schedule last season, he also threw for over 260 yards against Florida and Miami, and he helped South Florida spring an upset over Lagway in Gainesville. I'm less confident in the Under, as there are a lot of unknowns with both offenses, which is why I'm only risking one unit on the total. As for Singleton, if Brown throws a touchdown, I expect it to be to his favorite target.
