As North Carolina moves closer to the launch of our best sportsbooks, the state retail sports wagering providers added another big-time name to the lineup of top-tier providers that will be out to make the most of the exciting new market in the Tar Heel State starting March 11.

Sportradar Solutions LLC, widely regarded as one of the largest sports betting data providers in the world, announced Thursday that it is officially in on the North Carolina sports betting market thanks to a supplier license the company received from the North Carolina State Lottery Commission. It gives the company the right to operate in America's newest legal sports betting jurisdiction.

Sportradar will be offering its full suite of betting data information to the eight North Carolina sports betting apps slated to go live next week.

Sportradar's presence in North Carolina is hardly a surprise with the amount of North Carolina sportsbook promos set to become available. The data provider currently has a total of 56 licences in the bustling North American market. They include relationships with states, provinces, native tribes, and the huge list of best sports betting sites taking wagers in those jurisdictions.

North Carolina's supplier license will be in effect for five years.

Everything is lining up for a Monday Launch

North Carolina regulators have been on a somewhat fast track to launch of their legal sports betting platform. Regulators in the state have approved eight sports betting licenses to companies that will be ready to go on March 11.

They include:

  • Underdog Sports in partnership with McConnell Golf

Our Caesars Sportsbook promo code can also be added to that list thanks to a supplier license it received because of a partnership with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.

Sportradar's green light adds to a nice list of other supplier licenses that have been handed out in the Tar Heel State. They include GeoComply and SBTech which also bring extensive experience catering to North American bettors and suppliers to the North Carolina scene.
