Money Pours in at BetMGM for Cameron Young to win BMW Championship
A PGA Tour rookie is drawing serious interest from bettors for this week’s BMW Championship.
Cameron Young, a 25-year-old in his first full season on the PGA Tour, has attracted the interest of bettors heading into this week’s BMW Championship at the Wilmington Country Club in Wilmington, Del.
Young has yet to earn a win but has been knocking on the door, finishing in second or third place in seven of the 23 events in which he has played. That includes back-to-back second-place finishes at the Rocket Mortgage Classic and the Open Championship last month.

Young has seen his odds to win the tournament move from +3300 at opening to +2200. He is on 9.2 percent of the tickets for 14.8 percent of the handle at BetMGM; both are tops in the field.
Scottie Scheffler, Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas, and Jon Rahm round out the players in the top five in terms of money wagered to win the BMW Championship at BetMGM.
Another player drawing surprising interest is longshot Sahith Theegala, who is priced at +8000 and is named on 3.1 percent of the tickets, drawing 2.8 percent of the handle at BetMGM.
