With the recent addition of multiple stars committing to the LIV Golf Invitational Series, here’s an updated two-tiered power ranking of the best golfers on the upstart tour.

LIV Golf now boasts four of the top-10 golfers in the PGA Tour’s Player Impact Program rankings from last year, and its players have won 10 major championships since 2017.

The announcements of who’s joining aren’t finished yet, either.

LIV Golf Invitational Series Power Rankings

Solid, but Unspectacular

10. Charl Schwartzel

The winner of the inaugural London event, Schwartzel is also a Masters Champion with a second PGA Tour win on record at the Valspar Championship in 2016.

Schwartzel’s resume includes 13 international victories, too.

9. Abraham Ancer

If LIV Golf is genuinely going to be an international series, adding the 31-year-old Mexican is a plus.

Ancer recently inked a partnership deal with FanDuel Sportsbook, and he claimed his first PGA Tour victory last season at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational.

8. Bubba Watson

While the two-time major champion hasn’t officially joined the LIV Golf Invitational Series, he was featured in a promotional video for the tour ahead of the inaugural event in London. The 43-year-old lefty has 12 PGA Tour victories and is a famous player worldwide.

Expect Watson to join the upstart series once healthy from a torn meniscus.

7. Louis Oosthuizen

The smooth-swinging South African’s lone PGA Tour win came at The Open Championship in 2010, but he has 13 international victories and brought home $6,306,679 in earnings last season.

Oosthuizen is probably past his prime at 39, but he’ll be a contender in plenty of LIV events.

Needle Movers

6. Patrick Reed

Was there any better fit for the LIV Series than Reed?

He’s a headline-grabbing villain with a PGA Tour win in eight of the past 10 seasons. That includes The Masters in 2018, two World Golf Championship tournaments, and two FedEx Cup events.

5. Phil Mickelson

Regardless of where Mickelson is professionally as a player, his popularity — and now potential notoriety — extends around the globe and across demographics.

He’s as vital to the initial success of LIV Golf as any player on this list.

4. Rickie Fowler

Need proof Fowler is as popular as ever? He remains one of the most heavily backed golfers in every event he plays by punters, despite his last victory coming all the way back in the 2019 Waste Management Phoenix Open.

Now, imagine Fowler winning his first major championship after defecting from the PGA Tour.

3. Bryson DeChambeau

Whether you consider DeChambeau one of the most interesting or annoying golfers in the world is irrelevant. He carded eight PGA Tour victories and an international win over a five-year stretch concluding last season. DeChambeau approaches golf differently, and so does LIV Golf.

2. Dustin Johnson

The last season Johnson didn’t win a PGA Tour event was in 2007. While he’s in danger of his 14-year winning streak ending this season, he also probably doesn’t care.

Johnson is a fitting trailblazer for LIV Golf, and no one should be surprised if he wins another major championship.

1. Brooks Koepka

perfect fit for LIV Golf, Koepka projects to become the face of the series in short order. He’ll be among the betting favorites to win every event the rest of this year, and his track record at major championships over the previous five years cannot be understated —even if his recent run has underwhelmed.

Koepka was an incredible grab and added immediate competitive credibility to the LIV series.
