Big Money Comes in on Philadelphia 76ers To Force Game 7 Against Miami Heat

With their season on the line, down three games to two against the Miami Heat, the Philadelphia 76ers are favored by two points at home in Game 6. One bettor is confident in the 76ers chances, putting $220,000 on Philadelphia to win and cover the two-point spread.

Priced at -110, a 76ers win would pay $200,000 if they win and cover in Thursday's Game 6.

Historically, a team that holds a 3-2 series lead in the first round of the NBA Playoffs and is on the road for Game 6 of the series has won the game 60.6% of the time.

That sounds daunting for Philadelphia. But they have had success at home in the playoffs, winning four of five games, including both home games in this series against the Heat.

The 76ers have also won two of the three games in this series in which star center Joel Embiid has played. After getting injured against Toronto in the first round, Embiid missed the first two games of the series. Even if he is not at 100%, he has put up 19.6 points and nine rebounds per game against Miami.
