I don't enjoy betting WTA so probably won't play it. I only bet Kerber because it seemed like one of those too good to be true value plays.

Here are my plays/thoughts for Monday:

Angelique Kerber +110 - I very rarely ever play the WTA anymore and for good reason most of these women are completely unpredictable. I have to play Kerber here because I just see this as a huge value play. I am looking at this match the same way I looked at Kohlschreiber over Haas. If you can get the younger, faster, stronger player at plus money you have got to take it. Kim Clijsters has had a great career and has made a great run in what has been announced to be her last Wimbledon. She's a great grass player so we can't underestimate her but she's not just on the same physical level as Kerber at this point in her career.

David Ferrer +105 - This right here is my favorite play of the tournament since I had that big hit on Kohlschreiber over Haas. Everyone knows Ferrer for his clay court game he gets very little respect for his grass ability. He just won Hertogenbosch two weeks ago. He has a career 31-12 record on grass (small sample size I know). Ferrer will need to get a feel for del Potro's serve which I think he can do he has a competent return game. Neither guy has been pushed at all in Wimbledon thus far (no I don't consider losing 1 set to Andy Roddick being pushed). I'll take Ferrer who had just played 5 grass games 2 weeks ago as opposed to del Potro who hasn't played on grass since last year's Wimbledon.

I know I said I was going to stop the cross sport parlays but I see one that I really like:

Baltimore Orioles - 134 Forget the cross country trip, the Mariners are starting a long man in their bullpen and their bullpen was just taxed on Saturday night when their starter went out with an elbow flexor in the 3rd. As a general rule, I will try to bet against the team that plays a "bullpen" game starting a relief pitcher. I know Jason Hammell got roughed up last start but I don't see anyone in the Mariners lineup capable of doing much damage.

Angelique Kerber - 195 I really was going to stop betting the WTA again but after the clinic that Kerber put on yesterday I can't resist. I think Lisicki is in for a letdown after beating Sharapova. She's 0-4 against Kerber (once on grass but that was a couple years ago). I just think Kerber is rolling right now and think she has a legitimate shot at winning the whole damn thing.

This will pay out about +164.

It wasn't a large amount by any means, because I don't know how many times the WTA has screwed me over with parlays. Like you said before, it's usually best to stay away from the ladies, but I couldn't stop myself from placing a small amount on the two of them together!
