Here are my plays/thoughts for Monday:

Angelique Kerber +110 - I very rarely ever play the WTA anymore and for good reason most of these women are completely unpredictable. I have to play Kerber here because I just see this as a huge value play. I am looking at this match the same way I looked at Kohlschreiber over Haas. If you can get the younger, faster, stronger player at plus money you have got to take it. Kim Clijsters has had a great career and has made a great run in what has been announced to be her last Wimbledon. She's a great grass player so we can't underestimate her but she's not just on the same physical level as Kerber at this point in her career.

David Ferrer +105 - This right here is my favorite play of the tournament since I had that big hit on Kohlschreiber over Haas. Everyone knows Ferrer for his clay court game he gets very little respect for his grass ability. He just won Hertogenbosch two weeks ago. He has a career 31-12 record on grass (small sample size I know). Ferrer will need to get a feel for del Potro's serve which I think he can do he has a competent return game. Neither guy has been pushed at all in Wimbledon thus far (no I don't consider losing 1 set to Andy Roddick being pushed). I'll take Ferrer who had just played 5 grass games 2 weeks ago as opposed to del Potro who hasn't played on grass since last year's Wimbledon.

Not Roger Federer in 3 sets - +160

This is not Roger Federer from 3 years ago. He is getting too much respect as evidenced by the -2200 line over Benneteau on Friday. Benneateau took him to 5 sets and could/should have won in the 4th on a tiebreaker. I know a lot on guys on the boards don't like Xavier Malisse and maybe for good reason. I was worried myself during the 1st set of the last match he didn't look like he gave a damn out there. He flipped the switch on and took care of business after that. Malisse is much better on grass than Benneteau and if Benneteau can push him to 5, why can't Malisse push him to at least 4? I see no viable reason why Malisse can't 1 of his service games. He is 0-9 lifetime against Federer so not going crazy with any moneyline bets but I do fully expect Federer to be eliminated before the final.

Should have stayed active and warm during break.
When Fed returned should have played aggressive and held serve for 7-5.
Instead he plays soft and passive, lets Fed get comfortable and break for tiebreaker which Fed dominated.
Gotta get the sponge out from between the ears, Malisse...

You are dead on with this. Federer is now dominating so whatever treatment he got during the delay seemed to work wonders.
