The plus money, yes please official thread
I'll start posting my plays in one thread as requested by a couple guys on here. I've had 2 big plus money hits with Kohlschreiber and Malisse.

A little about my betting strategy:

I mostly look for value plays in the range of +100 to +180. I will occasionally play a favorite straight up but never any higher than -150. I do parlays from time to time usually aim for -500 or below. I don't believe in betting the high favorites as it adds very little to the overall payout.

Malisse was my big play today so I'm not sure if I'm going to have anything else today or not. I did do a parlay with Malisse, Stepaneck (in progress betting at -250 from the suspended match yesterday) and the Pittsburgh Pirates at -114 but I don't know if anyone is interested in cross sport parlays.

Thanks for the support to anyone who's been tailing lately.

      Like that strategy you're using.
Cross sport parlays are good as well.

I'm still looking over some figures but my gut is telling me to play Youzhny big. Also probably looking at another fairly large play on Malisse. I'll post some reasoning later once I decide for sure.

I'm also looking at Verdasco and Almagro, neither prefer the grass, but both have been in good form recently.

I think Almagro's serve is under-rated, he wins a high % off his first and second serve (7th and 6th on the tour respectively vs Gasquet 36th and 10th) and that should keep in competitive in every set.

I just wanted to say thanks real quick buddy. You've been a constant help and fast to give advice. I enjoy following your tips. I especially need help with tennis. I've been down a lot lately and really need to rebuild the bankroll and get ready for the upcoming football season, which is my best sport by far. I already lost a good chunk of money on a couple crazy parlays where berdych was the only one to lose. Felt like a sucker of course, but apparently I wasn't the only one to get screwed by him this tournament. Anyway, thanks again for all you do, looking forward to your picks friend!

I'm not sure I want to touch the Almagro-Gasquet line. I try to stay away from the guys with little to no successful grass experience. I am on the opposite side of Verdasco though. I'm going to be putting a pretty big play out on Malisse. Malisse showed what he could do out there yesterday beating a superior player in straight sets on his surface of choice.

Ok boys let's try to this thing going:

Malisse -135 (medium sized play) He's been rounding into his old form again the last couple tournaments. He's born to play on the grass 67% career win percentage on the surface. He's got a good serve and can handle himself on returns. Verdasco doesn't like the grass could see this one ending in 4. Look at what Malisse did yesterday winning against a superior playing in straight sets.

Youzhny +168 (huge, huge, huge play for me) Assuming Malisse takes care of his business, I will be taking those winnings and doubling up on Youzhny at an absolutely amazing price. This line is ridiculously off. Youzhny is another absolute beast on grass. I love the guy always been a fan of his. Tips is being terribly overrated here. He's not a great grass player and just lost to Lu last week. You don't know if it was due to a lack of motivation but can't be overly confident in a guy that just got handled by a guy in Lu who was coming off a terrible losing streak. They are career 2-2 head to head nothing in the last 2 years and never on grass. I'm not predicting Youzhny to dominate but I can definitely see him taking this in 5. Let's hope we see his famous military salute to celebrate the victory.

Also will be putting a cross sports parlay in on Raonic (in progress at -250), Mayer at -225 (not buying into this Janowicz kid just yet) and Phillies at -102. Hell Cliff Lee has got to a win a game sometime and the Marlins have been as bad as can be in the month of June. Do expect a pitcher's duel between Lee and Johnson but with Utley back the Phils have some punch again in the lineup.

I definitely agree with you that the line is off with Youzhny, gl with that one I think it will go 5 as you said. I was thinking about betting Youzhny but I backed off because I watched both Tipsy matches and he just scares me right now, he looks so determined to make the quarters here. Youzhny def is a crafty grasscourter though.

Lol remember what I said about Istomin being good on grass, it's impossible to bet him -200 against Falla but I think he deserves those odds

Don't double up on Youzhny bro. I had him picked to the quarters and maintain he will get there, but Youzhny is a very popular pick tomorrow. Sometimes we do all get it right, but over on TI - it's a majority play and those do not hit with regularity. Considering Youzhny's season, the price really is pretty fair. I'd play it, but stick to your base bet. Love Malisse on grass.

You're right I noticed that everyone and their mother seems to be Youzhny and I do love betting against the public. The price is just too hard to resist.

P.S. You know I how much I like my boy Kohlschreiber so I'm already salavating over the public going crazy on the wonder boy on Saturday.

Istomin could potentially be parlay candidate. That damn Falla has screwed me twice though already lol.

If you want to be safer and play the Youzhny/Tips match just hit the over. They'll probably both handle their service games to get it deep to 5.

I watched Malisse play Simon and yes he played well but Simon also played pretty poorly, plenty of UE, poor serving at crucial points. Grass is his favoured surface but he's also lost to the likes of Tursonov, Schuettler in the last 18 months or so. You're probably right though, Verdasco is not a grass court player and shouldn't be backed here.

Almagro I still like - the odds on him are only as high as they are because of his relative lack of experience on grass. He does well on the hard courts, and his serve is much better than Gasquet IMO.

Youzhny is a good chance to win and probably worth a play, but this is the same man that lost to Kiefer, Mathieu in the last 2 years so I would caution, personally, making it a large play.

                                      BOL!

Not confident enough to pull the trigger on a big play on Youzhny but I really like the over 39.5, at -119 on Pinny right now. Also like Malisse and Mayer straight.

I'm not advocating playing it but Federer doesn't deserve to be a -3000 or higher favorite at this point in his career. I noticed the line at Benneteau dropped from +2900 to +2200 overnight on 5dimes, guess people are thinking the same thing. Again I don't see Federer losing but no way he is that guaranteed anymore to be justifying those kind of odds.

We got the better 2nd set we needed. Malisse has got to keep his head on straight for 3 and 4 and possibly 5.

Break Verdaso twice. Take care of your service game and I'm feeling really, really good about our chances.

I swear Malisse must have been using a body double that 1st game, looks like a totally different player out there now.

Youzhny wins the nice 1st set. I didn't get to put as much on him as I ideally wanted to because the Malisse match was still pending. Also the fact that he was such a heavy public play as EP brought up did scare me off in the ever so slightest.
