I don't think you understand how American odds work or something... betting 2.8 units at those odds should net you 4.48 units, not 4.2.

I need to use a calculator or something, instead of guessing what the exact point is. So what's the proper formula to find the exact? Thanks man

Height does not play a huge part in picking who wins smart one. You can bet using a minimal strategy but I use everything before I pick a player to win or lose. Make your own thread.

Nah, I know. I think I'm just hormonal and feeling a bit sorry for the guy. I get the sense at times he does want to learn so I guess that's what I'm focusing on. Really though it does me no good to tell other people angles to look for when betting tennis as that only potentially screws my own stuff up in a roundabout way. So I should probably just shush at this point any way

When betting + odds, you first divide the number (odds) by 100 and then multiply the result by the amount of units you are playing it for, which will give you the amount of units won on a given bet. If it's a loser on the other hand, then you've obviously only lost the amount of units you played it for.

- odds on the other hand are a bit different to calculate... you divide the given odds by 100 as well, only now you have to use that number to divide the amount of units you bet. So if you bet $25 at -180 odds, you win: $25 / 1.8 = $13.9. Or if you bet $15 at -150 odds, then you win $10, for obvious reasons (15/1.5=10).
