In this thread I will be posting my tennis picks. I have been betting tennis for around 4 years now and have been making plenty of profit. I go through everything until I select my pick. Physical,Mental,Head-To-Head, Recent Play,The Lines,and how they play in longer matches. You need to know all these thinks because if you don't than you blindly select a pick based on who's favored how can you have an edge on a match?You have to look at all reasons a player is favored to win or lose. Also never "bet it all" on someone you think will win.

Demonata, just some advice: This is the third tracking thread you've started in less than 2 weeks. Unless you post your plays beforehand and with unit sizes, you're going to run into the same thing as you have in your last 2 threads. The posters that keep questioning you aren't trolls - they're trying to figure out what the heck you're doing with your plays. Posting a win/loss record means nothing - especially when you're betting big chalk.

Anyway, best of luck but if you decide you're unhappy with this thread in a few days again just keep in mind that I'm going to have to start combining all of your threads together into one big one. No one needs to keep opening the same threads over and over again in the same small sub-forum just because they're upset. It clogs the board needlessly.

Couldn't you of sent this in a pm instead of posting it? This post you just made hurt my case. How come Eaglesphan never runs into these guys and other posters that don't put unit sizes? So when they call me a liar and say I'm a horrible bettor and tell everyone to stay away from my thread then it's nice of them? I should tell them thank you?I made one bet that was high chalk so I don't see how everyone has to rip my head off about it.I bet if there was any test or tournament you could come up with I could prove how good I am at betting tennis and I clal I would be in top 5 in the whole forum.

I admit with this pick I am picking hime because he's favored and black so with not too great of opponents playing each other going with the guy with faster twitch muscle fibers. Also Minar just loses pretty much every game.

EaglesPhan doesn't run into this for many reasons: his bets aren't heavy chalk so posters can assume everything revolves around one unit whether he's betting chalk or dogs; he didn't start his thread by saying how good of a tennis bettor he is; he's been around here for years posting tennis plays; he didn't give his strategy in his first post using caps ie I NEVER bet parlays only to change it a few pages later, etc... The downside of wanting attention for your bets by starting a thread is that you open yourself up to scrutiny. When you're posting plays after the match has started for example, nothing good will come of that. Who cares about a record if the people you want to follow you can't bet those plays or they don't even know how much you're risking. Tevari was right - you can go 2-10 and be up money just like you can go 10-2 and be down. A win/loss record is less important than units gained or lost.

Anyway that's just my advice. Unless someone is violating a rule of the forum, they're not going to be punished for scrutinising your thread. Just post your plays before the match starts, post how much you bet on it and then keep track of your win/loss record and units won. If you don't get the chance to post before the match starts - and this has happened to me many times - the bet shouldn't count towards your record. Or if you do count it, expect to be questioned about it. What's the point of having a thread if the people you're trying to help make money can't get on those plays or if they do, have no clue how much you bet? There will also be a contest for the US Open as there is for every Slam so you should join it if you'd like. Best of luck.

I bet like 1 heavy chalk match and I posted one play after it started. Not really a lot to complain about.

I have a good feeling about this burloq match so betting 5 units.
Carlos Burloq has played good as of late and Haider-Maurer has been very inconsistent. Not to mention Burloq plays well against Haider-Maurer.

Guys I ignored Tevari because he never has anything useful to say and does not ever have any fun and is always in a bad mood. If he starts to say anything that actually has to do with tennis let me know. Right now I think he's in love with me because he follows me wherever I go. I just don't like dealing with people that are so serious all the time and can't have fun. Also kind of scares me how much he's in love with me.

I think it might be nice to tell you all A little about myself. Since kind of slow this morning till about 10 when the games start.

I have been betting for 4 years. I'm 22 years old. Got into tennis betting after seeing players like Nadal and Fedderer play. They made the game exciting. Best bet I made was the Wimbledon final Roger Fedderer vs Andy Roddick. Was also probably the most exciting match I ever saw too. That last set when it went to the tiebreak was so amazing. I will not say I'm the best tennis bettor but I will say I study picks a lot before I pick them.I love watching tennis so I've watched a lot of matches too. I don't just bet tennis, I enjoy watching it. To whoever follows my thread and has good questions let me know.

Hahahahah this is great. Demon, at majors there is not last set tiebreak. Players have to win by two games in the last set, giving us matches like Isner v Mahut where they could go on forever

My only beef with Demonata's picks was he posted 2 picks, eg. Na Li, and Gilles Simon. Saying, "oh yeah I forgot to mention I bet these 2 but didn't post them"

That one is really tough and could go either way I think. I would not bet on that one. That's my advice.
