Just going to take the Chela loss for today and move on to tomorrow. No point throwing money at more matches today and losing more haha. Nice to see Haase killing verdasco. Unreal

#182Are u retarded??? Serena will be out in the next 3 days..She is not conditioned to play yet. She wass huffin and puffin yesterday in the first round. Venus looks and walks like an 80 year old black woman(no offense) from Alabama in her stupid looking shorts. She barely won today in 3 games against a no name 40 ear old. She only plays grandslams..No way she makes it to even semi-final. Nadal is not nearly as good on grass as he is on clay.Djoko is the only one that might make it to the final...Comment -

#186Date-Krumm is old but she had some success last year. Venus Williams has been shaky for a long time now so I wouldn't be backing her as a big favorite at this point. I believe she was -2000 today which is ridiculous. At the end of the day though, how many times have we seen a williams sister play like crap but still win? Happens all of the time. Would never count either of them out either.
Really really pissed off to see Haase won today. Liked it but just couldn't pull the trigger on it. Still gun-shy after going against the "injured" Hewitt yesterday.
Simon wins in straight sets. I know some of you liked him so hopefully you went through with the bet.
Really surprised to see Wawrinka lose to Bolelli and in straight sets nonetheless. Really opens it up for Gasquet who will be facing Murray in a couple rounds now.
Nothing crazy happening on the women's side surprisingly.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, here's some stuff to consider:
Beefcake you read my mind with De Voest. Gonzalez is coming back from an injury so i'm not sure how far he can go here. These long matches can't be good for his body. Definately something to look at here at a +208 dog price
Isner/Almagro - Almagro is a juicy +185 dog here. Isner the usual big serve and nothing else player. Not 100% sure that almagro would win here or anything but the line does seem a bit high. Worth a shot maybe. Only thing really holding me back here is the fact that almagro isn't good on grass but damn that price looks nice. Not sold on Isner at all
Not going to take it but I have a feeling that people are going to be on Seppi over Baghdatis. Baghdatis barely beat James Blake of all people so you can see where he is coming from right now
Going to think about this a bit more.Still lots of time before the matches. If you guys like anything let me know. Hope you guys had a good day todayComment -

#187Almagro is shit on grass, I think Isner wins relatively easily in straights or 4 sets. Fading Baggy is always a good idea. Devvarman is one I am looking at more closely. I love Youzhny and he's usually a good Slam player, but 2011 has not been his best. Lisicki might be a shot against Li as well, although Li is so tough now in Slams. Might be a good overs play on the total.Comment -

#190Nice hits bruce
Soderling should beat Hewitt but Soderling had the trainer out during the second set I believe and he didn't look that comfortable out there. Not really sure what to do with that match.Might be best to stay away
I knew thoughts of Almagro would get no love. Took another player today that was horrible on grass in Chela and I see how that worked out. Bah. Isner is 3-6 on grass so it's not like he is lighting the world on fire himself on grass. I really really think I should pass on taking Almagro but I just have a gut feeling about him. He's +185 and worth a shot. I agree that if Almagro happened to be the fav here I wouldn't even think twice about picking him in this spot but if I am going to take a chance on something I would rather it have a +185 payout then to be an iffy favorite like I took with Chela. Still up so far this tournament so I am going to take the risk. Flame me Flame me haha
Play for Thursday
Almagro +185
It's in. It's in. Flame away. Gut feeling here. Isner is a serve and nothing else. Nico bring it home. If this backfires I will try to go a more safer route for fridayComment -

#191Almagro it is....
How did Almagro do against a big server on grass. Any big server.
Do you know???
can he handle his serve???
P.S..Soderling did not exactly cruise last round...
I think Hewitt might be good small play at +255
Plus he is a crowed favorite...
What do you think???
And what about Christina McHale at +180???
and Lisicky at +135???Comment -

#193Tried to do a little research and Almagro hasn't played one of the big servers on grass before in his career. He has just played them mostly on clay in which he wins since it's his best surface. That doesn't tell us much. Sometimes we just have to seperate the player from the surface and think about which one is better head to head. Almagro isn't good on grass and isn't the most dependable player but he is playing Isner here. You really never know what you are going to get from one match to the next with these types of players so if we are going to bet on a match like this, taking a decent sized dog is the way to go. Would be hard for one to argue that betting Isner as a -200 fav is a good idea.
I tend to stay away from the women's matches until later in the tournament boxing champ. Betting women's tennis is like betting on a coin flip and it seems that most of the time when I do bet on women's tennis I lose so I try to stay away
818z most people that will be betting that match will be taking Seppi. Baghdatis barely beat a player that should have been retired 2 years ago so he definately can't be playing his best tennis right now. Based on current form you would have to take Seppi here. Seems from looking at the other messageboard that people do like Seppi in this one but I would personally stay away from it. If a match is a toss up like this it would be nice if a player has some decent dog odds to take a chance with them instead of basically betting a match that is a coin flip at -108 a side. Gun to my head I take Seppi hereComment -

#194Thanks for the write up...
I can't argue with you there..
After all Almagro is #15 player against # 47 at + 165
Can't ask for a better scenario....
The only reason Isner is favorite is because of his great serve...
