Avoided that. Neither has any form. Would not pay that much for Roddick given his time off, but don't really think Kohlschreiber is up to winning on this surface either.

andy's serve is nasty right now but he's had a ton of mishits/trouble breaking kohl when given the opportunity -- think in later rounds andy will be good fade material but he should win tonight has the first set

And that's why you don't overpay for Roddick after all that time off. Books have really been laying some stupid prices of late - again not that I would have taken Kohlschreiber, but to give Roddick over -200 and he hadn't played a lick of outdoor hardcourt ball since March? Just flat out asking to get beat by value hunters.

Injury + fatigue for Tsonga. He is one of those guys who I think could use the extra rest for the US Open. I planned on going against him until he loses this week.

Well I think the books are keen to this angle here to open in Cincy. Otherwise based on Tsonga's play recently, he would have been a much bigger favorite I think.

Except for him being a good player and the odds paying well... You could say that about any player wanting to get rest for the us open so I'm going with Tsonga winning today I think.

Isner from what I have read is a little banged up and/or maybe fatigued. Think that showed against Troicki last tournament where his serve did not have much pop. I think that's why the line is lower. Stepanek though is one of those guys that I'd rather wait on to see how he does for a round or two before trusting him because he's just as likely to flop as he is to win. And if Isner is better rested, his serve can blow Steps off the court.

Wouldn't trust either with my money on a side, but I think either by Donkey tank or Stakhovsky continuing to struggle with good returners that this one could be over in straights.

This is one of Federer's favorite stomping grounds. I think a loss tonight would be a huge detriment to him doing much at the US Open. JMDP coming off the illness last week might not quite be back to 100%, but I think he'll make Fed earn this for sure ... so here's my "cooler" pick which probably loses since I am ICE ICE baby ...
