As usual, yisman advice is sound: Fade the winner. There is no way that he can recover for tomorrow match. Lets set O/U 56.5 points in this set (or 57.5, it is the same), do you take the over?
No one in their right mind would take the winner of this. But unfortunately you'd think the lines would be set accordingly.

Bloody crazy stuff.
The stats in this match are unreal as well. 119 Aces, 389 winners.

Over 50 games in fifth set. Whoever wins this is going to be ruined for their next match.

Which is the record? Is it still Santoro - Clement, French open 2004? That one was 6 hours 33 mins.

I think this little Mahut is going to win. He still seems to be bouncing around a bit. Isner is starting to look like he's giving up on trying to return a few shots. Can't blame him really.
And I'm hoping these Brits brought a bucketload of sunscreen. They'll be roasting out there - they don't do well on a cloudy day let alone sitting out in that for hours.

Both players have easily surpassed the old ace record (51).
Winner plays De Bakker or Giralo, and that's 13-12 in the fifth set!!!!
next match is going to a battle of fatigued players

Could you imagine if you took it?
Goat and I were talking in my thread about this one going over yesterday. He jumped on it and I never did. I don't think we'll ever see an easier cash in tennis again.

I am a tournament chess player, and when I have one of those 7 hour games I feel like a zombie. I guess Mahut and Isner are now in even worse shape.

And 9 more aces for Isner and he'd break that record as well. Wow.

By the way, the Santoro - Clement game was suspended for darkness and resumed the following day. So, it was not as grueling as this one. In the other hand, I am sure the game at Rolland Garros was more intense, with many more exchanges. Today they are having very short exchanges.

Well, this one resumed today so it's not like they played the whole thing in one shot. And I agree, the rallying here is pretty much non existent so you're probably right about RG being more intense.

Unless one of them retires from exhaustion, they keep going until there's a winner however long it takes. You'd think one of them is going to break down soon but to tell you the truth, I thought that 30 games ago.

No, this is why everyone else uses a tiebreak.

Isn't Isner supposed to partner with Querrey in doubles today? Or is that tomorrow? There's another good autofade right there.

I don't see how Isner wins considering he's almost giving up on the returns now.

Pick your ending:
1.- A human rights commission suspends the game.
2.- Mahut breaks his opponent serve, but is unable to serve for the match.
3.- Both players agree to leave the game as a draw.

How's this? It's the most number of games at Wimbledon since '69 when the tiebreak was introduced. Before the tiebreak the record was 112. It's now at 108.

The winner gets de Bakker who in his own right was stretched out over two as well plus a long 5th set. That next match regardless of who plays de Bakker should be a no bet plain and simple because no one knows how either person will respond.
