I made a lot of smaller plays, mostly for value. I always do in the first round so I force myself to stay awake and watch matches when the time difference is a bitch like now. I had Arn earlier and am opposite you on both your plays.

But I have Groth with the handicap so we can both win that one.

I know what people are think, Montanes is a pure claycourter, but he is quite ok on this low bouncing slightly slower grass..Hope Oudin wins, narrowly

BTW, can you see that Mahuts fluffy hair starting to lose form? Looks to be hanging a bit on his forehead, a clear sign that this match should have been over long time ago.

I think he has improved his returning game alot this season, so did Karlovic after some years realizing he had to change his game abit.

Isner won tournament this year, you dont do that if you dont improve your return game. Isner actually had 8 breakchances this game, but looked quite flat during the 5th set on returning.
