In my mind wen i looked at the match my initial reaction was Hewitt,he looked pretty good yesterday.I do like Hewit in this one think he beats Istomin Thanks Again.Really enjoying the tourney,Im hopen the forcast gets better in Paris.

Sticking with Baggy. He won after heavy rain in Munich against Chiudinelli whereas Granollers isn't that hot after rain at all.

Another interesting thing I found from a site I belong to: Ljubicic in a Croatian local paper after his first match. Translation:

"Situation is not perfect. Still bothers me. Every now and then i hear the snap of bone and cartilage said Ljubicic after winning the first round match against Lu. The first two sets against Lu i dosed,served about 180km/h. It is good that we finished in three sets. But this way is gonna be hard to play against Fish and think of winning. The question is not whether i can play or not. I can, but i feel pain, interference. Doctors say that this situation can last even a year."

Will be either a no play or a little on Fish just for value. The guys sounds like his body's ready to fall apart and is dreading the match with Fish.

It really depends. If a match is running long, then the competitors due on the court will be pushed back until the match before them finishes. If it starts to rain and there's no roof, then everything gets pushed back. It can be very frustrating as a gambler because not only can the momentum shift but a delay can give a player that much more time to rest up.

I agree. Piss poor performance on his part. In those situations I'd rather him go down in the 3rd set 6-2 than get my hopes up that he can fight his way back in it.

I don't even want to think about how much I'm down so far today. On an 0-fer on tennis, not starting well on soccer either. Had been on a scorcher the last week and some, so it was inevitable that a day like today would happen. Oh well, plenty of day left to rebound, so I'm going to go curse Rochus for a while and get ready for what's left.
