i don't know why but i just think lacko can steal a set. or maybe o/u 28 is a trap. youz can easily finish him i just think the young guy has a bit of confidence after last match.

I would lean Rochus. Not only is he the more experienced player but the only person he's lost to since the beginning of April has been Gasquet and he's played in every clay tournament if I remember correctly with Gasquet always being the source of his demise. And remember, Gasquet's been the hottest player on clay lately so those losses aren't too surprising. Although he did beat Gasquet a few weeks before that as well. Besides Lopez, Reister hasn't won a match against anyone of real note on clay that I can think of, although I could be forgetting someone, and I'm not convinced that that win wasn't more of a result of Lopez's under-performance than Reister's excellent one. Watch Rochus go down 6-1 6-0 6-1 now that I've said this.

not that easy. H2H records indeed show lacko always manage to take a set from youzhny this year, but that is always the first set, which I can only translate Youzhny is still playing around. If today, Youzhny decide to show up early like prev match, I dont see Lacko stand any chance.

lol thanks for the prompt response. I am thinking it was just a fluke he beat lopez and am thinking the same thing you are that he just had an off day. I'm thinking the veteran pulls this one through. I have noticed though he usually drops the first set and rallies back

I think you're right. He did in Madrid against Youzhny so why not here? I could definitely see 4 or even 5 sets here if Lacko continues to play as strongly as he has been. It's up to Lacko though. If he lets Youzhny take control from the start, he's screwed.

I would be screaming if I were him. Every damn time he won a match, he was on a collision course with Gasquet, only to get beat yet again. Poor guy.

He could very well win. I just can't back him based on beating Lopez alone and I've seen nothing to make me want to take him other than that win, although I could definitely be missing something.

Mayer I liked from the start but it's when I was typing out my response to dan that I thought it would be silly for me not to take him considering what I'd said. He's the better player and I can't back a one-match hot streak against a great player that I'm convinced didn't show up to play.

Mayer I liked from the start but it's when I was typing out my response to dan that I thought it would be silly for me not to take him considering what I'd said. He's the better player and I can't back a one-match hot streak against a great player that I'm convinced didn't show up to play.

I also think based on clay skills, Mayer is better player. But scary stats of Benneteau try to lure me away. Since 2004, he always pass 2r, then fail 1r, n so on. While for Rochus, for a reason that I forgot alr, he's on my no bet list. I just can't back him at all.

I looked at her! I'm not sure what my problem is today but I really just don't feel strongly about very much. I think it's partly being tired and partly that I've made such great money for awhile now that I'm waiting for the ceiling to cave in. I'm looking right now at Petkovic although if I take her I'll wait until right before it's about to start because I think money will keep coming in for Svetlana. Kind of hard to go against the defending champion though but her form's been a bit shocking lately. Best of luck!! Feel free to post your plays in here whenever because I'd love to see them!

There's a couple of different sites I take a look at but yes, that's one of them. Although I must admit there are times when I take a look at the matches and pick based on what I feel to be true rather than what the stats may say.
